Totally agree. Towards the end of the season, I lost count of how many goals we conceded due to goalkeeping errors. Collins started off well after taking over from Wilson, but after the turn of the year we could hardly keep a clean sheet. Not that it was all Collins’ fault, but having a confident goalkeeper breeds confidence in the defence and the rest of the team.Why is that ridiculous? More concerned about the centre backs, hope Saddle is right and we bring in another.All successful teams in the history of football had solid back lines incl the keeper. We need to invest in the goalkeeping dept and if that’s £5M, no issue for me.
