Spending 5m on a goalkeeper is quite frankly ridiculous

Why is that ridiculous? I'm all for grabbing bargains but to suggest our most urgent position of need isn't work spunking quid for is a bit ridiculous.

Totally agree. Towards the end of the season, I lost count of how many goals we conceded due to goalkeeping errors. Collins started off well after taking over from Wilson, but after the turn of the year we could hardly keep a clean sheet. Not that it was all Collins’ fault, but having a confident goalkeeper breeds confidence in the defence and the rest of the team.

I wouldn't be rushing this one though. This so the key position to get right. If it takes til mid July then let's wait.

I think we need 6 more. GK, LB, CB, DM, ST plus a RB. Loan out or sell fringe players and be open to loans incoming for some of these positions

Kaine Kesler-Hayden on a loan maybe even with a buy option just seems too perfect, from Villa too, really hope the club are looking at him, class player. A permanent LB is needed but would be insane if we can loan in Owen Beck, class as well. Luke Chambers would be great at LB too, top level performances for Wigan. Dexter Lembikasa and Jaden Katongo would also be good RB cover. My top two being Hayden and Beck, but realistically Hayden and Chambers.
