I think we will look to sign another right sided player unless Rodrigues is more ready for first team action than we have assumed.

Adi said we want top quality comp for Tats on the right and he’s coming back from a huge injury … both factors don’t suggest we are just gambling on Rodrigues
I mentioned him before but Lasso Coulibaly would be an excellent addition to the RW position. Can also play as a right 8 if we are switching to a 4-3-3.

Should be signed purely for the song potential.

The Ntelo link makes me think we're thinking of getting a 3rd striker who can also be 4th/5th choice on the wing.

Leeds apparently - they will out bid us on wage and fee still for starters.

Not sure if the lad is premiership ready yet, still looks raw.

IF we are in for him, guess the hope is the upward trajectory club is on, history of improving players and don't know how good mates he is with EMC?
Leeds will have very material FFP issues this summer.

Burroughs wasn't getting in Lincoln's team in League 1 last season so I don't think he's good enough for a team pushing for promotion. And Rodrigues is a LW (and wingers aren't usually very good defensively) looks more of a development signing.

Who? Latibeaudiere didn't look good at RB (consensus on here). Eccles is a CM and is currently 1st choice (along with Sheaf). Burroughs I'm not sure if he's good enough. Who's the 4th?

We need 2 good players in every position and then players like Latibeaudiere, Burroughs, Allen and Tavares are squad players.
Burroughs made 34 appearances for them and was there starting RB until he got injured and then he missed a spell.

I would not mind us taking a look at Emiliano Marcondes; just been released by AFC Bournemouth. 100 games at Championship level, being promoted with Brentford and Bournemouth, and although had not featured much for Bournemouth, played 15 times for Hibernian since January, scoring a couple of goals. Could be a decent option in terms of a replacement for Kelly, offering some experience and depth

There is, however there are much bigger fish in for him so i wouldn't hold out much hope
Being linked to quite a few Central midfielders, any word on which ones are more likely, Barron, Brown, Sanchez, Kyprianou?

Sounds as if Stamenic is as good as done so need maybe 1 more if Allen leaves and a CAM in which Sanchez can play.

I would really like to know which Peterborough player we have first option on. I can only think that we wouldn't have this in place unless we seriously intend to follow it up.

I like the look if Steven Alzate released from Brighton he wil have lots of options i would of thought. But looks a good player and someone who fit and someone that would add quality depth.

Well the initial article stated, we had asked for 'an option' (not first option) on a player in the summer transfer window. I may be splitting hairs but the reality is 'an option' is incredibly vague as a term and was never expanded on.

I would guess it means we might comeback and make a bid or at least have the opportunity to make bids if another club were interested?

But it is very unclear what it means and I think some of our fans have put too much significance in the phrase and think a deal is as good as done? I can't see Peterborough selling a player to us for less if a club is willing to offer more?

So again we are in the position of wait and see what happens ? So far we have recruited Ephron Mason-Clark and Raphael Borges Rodriguez. Everything else is rumour and speculation.

We don’t know that we have a first option. What we know is that we asked for one.

can someone draft up one of those lineup drawings to show our strength in depth?

Don’t know the fancy website but:

GK: Collins/Wilson/Bell/Tyler
RB: MvE/Burroughs
LB: Bidwell/Dasilva
CB: Thomas/Latibeaudiere/Ryan
CB: Kitching/DeTrollio/Perry
CM: Sheaf/Howley/Moore
CM: Eccles/Torp/Andrews
RW: Saka/Rodriguez
AM: Palmer/Allen/Rus
LW: Wright/EMC/Eghosa
ST: Simms/Godden/Tavares/Obikwu

Some of the kids may be in the wrong position. And I’ve left O’Hare out but technically he’s still here.

Not sure there's much point including the likes of Eghosa, Rus, De Trolio, Perry etc, don't see them ever making an appearance for us tbh

They’re players on pro contracts. I’m not making judgements on quality.
Fair

I think a realistic chart right now looks like:

GK Collins/Wilson
LB Bidwell/Dasilva
CB Kitching/*
CB Thomas/Lati
RB MVE/Burroughs
CM Sheaf/Allen
CM Eccles/Torp
CAM Palmer/*
LW Wright/EMC
RW Saka/Raphael
ST Simms/Tavares

I'm sure Godden will leave and we'll bring in a CB and CAM.

I think Allen is an AM if he’s anything but expect him to go or be a floating squad player at best.

I think bare minimum we need a CB CM and ST. That’s before you start upgrading at GK or LB or whatever.

I think if you list 2 pros in each position it gives you a better idea of what needs strengthening...
GK. Collins/Wilson
RB. MVE/Burroughs
LB. Budwell/Dasilva
RCB. Thomas/Lati
LCB. Kitching/
CM. Sheaf/Torp
CM. Eccles/Allen
AM. Palmer/
RF. Sakamoto/Rodrigues
LF. Wright/EMC
CF. Simms/Godden

For me we need GK, LB, LCB, CM (possibly 2 depending on formation change) AM, CF
