Didn't someone recently allude to us having been speaking to the Godden replacement for a while, and they trusted Robins to "get the best out of them"

That points to me as either a young development player, or a failed young starlet who had potential they haven't quite fulfilled yet.

squad size has been an issue last few seasons, or shall I say a lack of quality depth

Even at backup, likely to get a fair few games and could be the MVE replacement if we don’t go up this season and he’s sold.
at least we’re trying to get a squad if the rumour is true.

We moan about having no subs we can make and then get worried when we sign players for depth.

Its not even a luxury position to be in, its how a normal competitive team operates.

Can play in place of MVE or Sakamoto, he'll get loads of playing time, we'll use our full squad a lot more when it has better quality in it.
Great news that he'll come here to rotate rather go to Preston to be the star man. Shows where we're at.

Exactly mate, its fucking stupid and I hate talk of 'first 11'. Sure we might have a preferred 11 for the big games but it's a squad game and I'm sure we'll use it.

It's like people forget our bench for the play off final. Had walker maguire and dabo on it. In less than 2 years we have gone to having too many players for the bench.
