I would be happy to keep Palmer but I wouldn't be looking to give him a salary increase.

It would be great to keep Sheaf but I doubt if we can match what others will pay him, so I suspect he will be off. It may not be the end of the world if we get a good price and spend it well.

Nah you just got carried away with rumours! Anyway, even if the club has a done deal, they probably think we have had enough excitement for one week.

If Burnley pursue their interest in Camara then I think we will struggle to match the wages they can offer and they might be regarded as a better bet for promotion.

It is but most employees don’t sign multi year contracts. They have a notice period.

in markets where that is not the case, the music industry for example, if a singer wants to leave their record company mid contract then compensation is paid.

Here’s how it boils down. 3 or 4 posters have the same source. Not Robins, Viveash or King but someone who can provide decent insight. The rest of us don’t have a clue what might happen. So no one is expecting 100% knowledge. Which King has every right to do. There’s no sentiment in football or business. Godden is an asset at the end of the day and we should be trying get as big a fee as possible for him.

I really hope we don’t give Palmer a new contract

Can’t imagine Sheaf wanting longer on his contract with us but if it means he gets more immediate money then fair enough but don’t make sense if we whack another year or two on

I’d prefer JDS be the one out the door instead of Bidwell

Godden gets goals so fair enough to aim for £500k cause for the goals he gets in L1 that’s fair but I’m sure his will take £350k if they get a bit closer than wherever they might be currently
