I still believe that the evaluation of Burroughs, Obikwu, Andrews, Howley, Dausch and Rodriguez is very much in play. And will play a part in directions we go within the transfer market going forward thus summer. If any of those are deemed good enough now to impact 1st team squads then our targets will change. And Over the next few weeks we will see the squad shaping up as im sure Robins wants a very competitive group of 20 or so quality players pushing each other to start each week.

Will that number include any of the names i mentioned, i hope so. And if that happens its a great sign we have good young players within. I liked what i seen from Burroughs and Obikwu and think they could be given 1st team opportunities this season. But for me, Rodriguez is the interesting one, Robins seemed excited about him and hardly played it down or tamper down expectations with his comments. From the videos he seems to be a confident sort of lad that acts like he belongs at the level, could he be another gem we found?

Be really interesting in who makes the trip to Spain, that could give us some massive indicators on how the squad is shaping up and who is deemed to be in 1st team plans. My eyes will be on that as i don't think Robins will be dragging players in to make up numbers this time.
Whoever is training with the first team now will go to Spain I imagine. Rodriguew for one is first team as robins already said he was

If I were to sign a player called "Castano" it'd be Kevin Castano playing for Krasnodar and the Colombia NT (who are in the Copa America final btw). Really tidy midfielder that I reckon will be out of our price range. Exactly the type of DM we need.

I can see Palmer being moved on, he and his agent will of been in talks with King about an extension weeks ago. If that wasn't looked at positively then King will want a fee and move him on. Seems like a good fella and has very good ability, but id want a more consistent performer and someone in who has more goals to his game.
Has ability but not consistent enough , 1 or 2 decent games then half a dozen average ones.

Happy for Palmer to go, able to pull of brilliance every now and then but completely ineffective for 85 mins.

Do we think we'll need to replace him or have we already got someone to fill in? Can only think of Rudoni and at a push EMC to play there.

Needed as replacement for Willock, now at Cardiff? QPR fans not unhappy to see him go weirdly
We all think of possible Prem loans or champ players who we know, but this is Doug and his team, and any player coming in will probably come from a European league. Also, don’t like the idea of London players, attitude and will still want the big city life with $$$$$

We may not play with a 10 I don't think. More a flat 3 in midfield

The official offer to Gustavo Hamer was made as a loan, with an option added to the offer, but Sheffield firmly informed us that they would not accept any offer other than a 15 million pound transfer fee for the player or a mandatory rental with an option.

Yorath went because he wanted too much money.

A little known fact is that as part of his signing on bonus, Yorath was given Jimmy Hill's house.
Back in the day I was ITK, but sadly not now. I assure you he went because they could not tell him what to do.
