We have just played Everton off the park and should have beat Bremen. It’s nowhere near as bad as you are making out

I never said it was bad at all, how have you jumped to that conclusion? 😂 I think we’ve had a decent pre-season, all I said is that it would be handy to give potential new signings minutes in the easier games, meaning that for the trickier games any new signings would have already had time on the pitch.

Strongly disagree with that, his pace and stamina, let alone crossing and finishing for a RB, is absolutely brilliant for this league, particularly when you consider the money we paid for him.
I do think he’s quality don’t get me wrong, and his pace is a valuable asset. However the amount we could get for him I think would potentially make an offer too good to turn down

We’ve got one of the stronger squads in the league on paper. Still got all our key players. Why are we wetting the bed?

It’s more in reference to Sheaf leaving and getting in a new CM (or 2 if Sheaf leaves), plus what we’re doing with potential loan outgoings, rather than me thinking we have a shit squad. I think we have a great squad, we just need a couple signings imo and then we’re there.

I love Sheaf, classy player with a bit of bite and steam in him, dont want him to leave and I dont think he will unless MR thinks a suitable replacement is ready

Ajax, Feyenoord and PSV are all interested in signing Coventry City's 23-year-old Dutch right-back Milan van Ewijk. (ESPN - in Dutch)

They'd have to sell the Palace to afford Sheaf

That’s worrying.

The Chrystal Palace was totally destroyed by fire in 1936, so it’s probably only worth about 85p.
