Would be great on loan although I can’t see it myself as I don’t see why anyone would loan us a RB when you have MVE due to start most games if he’s fit.

Saying that I can’t see why he’d go Sheff Utd either as they’ve already signed one RB on loan in Gilchrist.

Be very happy with that. MVE is the only player we don’t have decent cover for. He also looked much more comfortable at wing back than MVE if we ever wanted to use a back 5 again.

Going to be coming here as mainly backup so not sure how appealing that would be to him
Probably more chance here than at Sheff U, they have Shackleton and Seriki at RB already.

I could see a way to make it work if we tell him he is a squad player this season but with a view to replace MvE in the summer if he moves on

Would be a great signing to compliment MVE on that side.

We won't be telling him he's backup we'll be telling him he's a rotation piece like the rest of the squad. If we have decent players in all positions we can afford to rotate and have a lot of them playing 120 mins every two games. Means we're always fresher than opponents and less likely to pick up injuries.

Then if it's with a view to a perm you tell him that it will be the same in the Prem next season or if we don't go up he becomes first choice as MVE is sold.

gonna be a hard sell but the more I think of it the more it feels perfect.

Imagine being able to rest MvE. Imagine being able to tel him to run his nuts off for 60 mins then still be able to bring on BNC for 30 mins and have a threat.

Really hope we can pull this off

Think there's serious legs in this BNC rumour. Fits the criteria of the double barrel name.

Just magnificent business nous from Doug, we'll be making millions off names printed on the back of shirts.
Coventry ends interest in Bynoe-Gittens:

You do wonder if the club are exploring the 'what if we sold MvE' scenario here. I thought BNC looked really useful in the back end of the playoff season. I would certainly welcome him back.

Think the appeal is he gets to work in a known environment with a clear route to either PL or first team football next season. He’ll be looking for his first proper pro club id imagine. Signed a new deal in 2022 with no length mentioned but wouldn’t be surprised if he only had a year or two left on that.

BNC is one that I really would like to see go through . Although he would not be first choice he would get plenty of playing time and knows the club. Just hope that he would choose us over the pigs if it came down to it.

Would be a great signing

Looked like Bambi on Ice first 7 or 8 games we had him but by the end of the season was solid. Was one our best player in the Play Off Final outside of Gus and Vik

Also had another full season at this level with Millwall so will be better for that

I'd like to know for those who say he's shit, who they think we can get in that will be happy to come on for the last 25 mins when Milan is flagging. BNC will be very handy against tired full backs

We have a few options already at the club, Lats and then Eccles or Sakamoto if needed. Move Lats to RB and allows us to bring in an experienced battler of a CB.

It feels like spending money for the sake of it tbh, other areas of the pitch need addressing first before we bring in a bang average RB.

Ok put it this way.

Would you rather have Jack Burroughs or BNC?

Because Lati is being groomed to be the Thomas understudy.

Look at Ipswich, last year their success was built on being able to bring fresh energy and quality on out wide when others started flagging

We can do that with BNC

Milan - BNC
Bidwell - DaSilva
Wright - EMC
Tats - Raphael
Simms - BTA

The same bang average RB who almost helped get us promoted to the premier league?

We definitely need an actual right back like BNC because it not only limits an important attacking avenue but also hinders our system.

Put Lati there and you also effectively nullify Tatsu, put Eccles there and you remove a key component of the midfield.

Just ignore everyone I suggested. I get we need cover, but for me he's not the man.
