It told me the same thing. They have 40+ players which is ridiculous. Surely they can let 1-2 go.
Couldn’t get regular match time at Leicester last season and is a 10 …. Not what we need

Not a 10…not playing every 90 as a youngster coming on loan to the best team in the division is normal. Obviously not a world beater or else I wouldn’t even be talking about us signing him

Sheaf endlessly linked with Ipswich this summer to no avail. No smoke without fire, have to think the club stood firm. Sunderland selling Clarke for 15 mill, boy we’ve come a long way.
Gyokeres and sporting the victims of the FFP regulation getting more teeth. This time last year he’d have been gone for 70 mill plus.
An experienced CM head like Alan Browne would have been the perfect signing.

I thought he was still in One Direction , he plays football too marvelous.
He plays as a 10.
he will no doubt end up a good player but he was poor last season and we don’t need a 10.

He is an 8 not a 10. Can play higher up but is a cm predominantly. Can also play DM.
I’m not sure why you are choosing to die on this hill but he’s not a CDM. Matesca said last season that he lacked the defensive qualities to play deeper.

He's not a DM. I never said he was. He is an 8. A DM is a 6.

He has raw physical attributes to play well in the center of the park, got a hell of a shot on him and plays a progressive game overall.
You said he can also play DM.
I agree he has potential but I think our priority is a defensive minded midfield player who links the play like Matt Grimes, both another offensive player.

He can also play as a DM where he has before in the same way Torp can play AM or Van Ewijk RW, but he is predominantly a CM. I agree with everything you've said here barring the Casadei comments but it's all really just semantics at this point. We need a progressive defensive minded midfielder, and I think Casadei could be that for us in the case we're looking for a loan. I would rather someone else but what other loan options are there?

I think our best bet is a club who have been stockpiling players and even talented younger players know they need to leave on loan to get any minutes.
I don’t have any names but I will be amazed if we don’t sign someone … the Bassette signing has given me hope that if we are prepared to spend money on a back up striker we still have funds for an 8 or 6.
