Allen, Bell, Burroughs, Howley, Obikwu, Paterson, Ryan, Tavares, Tyler.

Probably some of the young academy graduates too but don't have their contract expiry dates.

Some of those might be contracted to the club but not in the first team squad

I didn't realise Justin Obikwu only had a deal to this summer, hope they get him signed up for a couple more years pronto.

They said squad, not first team squad, and as they're contracted players they count.

Yes but under seperat budgets. So why people are in which squad is apples and pears.

If you have two development prospects you sometimes have to put better players around them to develop. Even if the better players never have a chance of making the first team.

Fans are very first team focused and don't really understand how players are developed. Sometimes developing players means, League One, League Two or National League. It's about developing players careers, it is not all about our first team.

Coventry have a good reputation for developing players.

Jatta, 26, has found the net 25 times in 45 appearances since joining from Danish Superliga side Viborg in February last year, form which has attracted interest from other clubs.

He has been linked with Championship side Coventry City, while an offer from an unnamed club was rejected by Notts during the January transfer window.

Crystal Palace are fighting to keep young right back Caleb Kpohra - with Frank Lampard’s Coventry heading the queue.

Kpohra, 18, has already made his first team debut for Eagles but has yet to sort out a new long term deal.

Coventry want to offer Kpohra a quicker route to first team football and that may tempt the youngster who joined Palace from Wellibg as a kid

Palace want England under-19 cap Kpohra to stay but will have to offer big terms to get him to agree.

Meanwhile Exeter City want to take keeper Joe Whitworth back for a second season on loan.

Article yesterday saying he’s close to signing a new four year deal 😂
