Can we do like a WhatsApp group chat and set up a new SBT with everyone except the leaking moaners?

I've just had enough of the moaning about it tbh. Only a select few of course but no point anymore

Those who want to know things I'm happy to message
Fair enough but think those select few are posters who have been banned previously and the rest just miserable. Team news a few hours early ain't going to factor in to rival teams. If lampard wants it stopped in sure he could do it quickly.

Anyway I have heard from my sources who we are looking at for LB. DM me if you want to know who it is

Lads, it's the 17th of April and we don't even know what league we will be in next season.

Don't worry about transfer targets or get excited, things can change a lot.

Feels like the forum has got sanitised to the point of irrelevance now if we have to ask for DMs for updates. It was always good to get some names put out there that of course we all wrote off immediately but it's a forum. If you want people to use it we need the information shared otherwise it will just die

A couple players I like a lot that could help next season:

Mamadou Sangare - CM - 22- Rapid Wien - Athletic midfielder with lots of physicality that he combines well with skill and passing ability. Perfect all-rounder midfielder in my opinion.

Sota Miura - LB - 24 - Kawasaki Frontale - Very impressive left back who broke into the Japan national team last year and should have more callups. 5 assists in 9 games this season.

Because it is 5 - 6 million of his money that isn't available to strengthen the squad obviously. Fans forget he is putting that money in as they only think about the accounts when they are published then forget about them again
He is risking 5m a year in the hope of a 100m payday if and when we get promoted to the Prem. I'm sure he wouldn't be putting that much in if there wasn't so much on offer.

Hes not got much of a choice unless someone comes in with 10 million plus mate. We still have 2 years left on him
We should also remember these players are now also being coached by top tier coaches (suspect additional coach may come in summer also)

Environment very different to under robins (not dig at MR either) players will want to stay under this guidance also. As saddle mentions we also hold all the cards with contract lengths.....so either show us ridiculous money or carry on.

Oh I know but if the interest previously is legit then I’d imagine there will be bids again in the summer.

He’s tied in but as we know, he wants off then its difficult.

To be fair £10m for a player of his age isn’t a gamble for a prem team in terms of Van Ewijk. On balance I’d take it and reinvest in two players similar to the price bracket we originally got him at RB and LB. Then spaff the Yok cash on the Sheaf replacement. Any other bits and pieces go on a back up RB

Pretty old fashioned view on the power of a contract. …. It’s not how it always plays out in the modern game. Hopefully NVE is a decent guy and won’t look to force a move.

Probably because we have been out of top flight so long, a lot of our fans over value our players. As good as MVE is he has flaws in defending, top teams might be monitoring but will they take the plunge.

Exhibit A Gyokeres has not been snapped up just teams monitoring, hence his negotiating to lower his contract release value.

If someone comes knocking he will go. But the knock isn't a given no matter how highly we all rate him.
