Would that not also indicate perhaps tactics were an issue?
I don’t disagree with that statement. I’m philosophical on the whole situation.

it’s football. This sacking shouldn’t surprise anyone.

Robins has been throwing things at the board to see if they stick for a while now. Rudoni at left back, Sakamoto at AMC

it’s a sad day, and Im gutted Robins has gone. But whilst he’s a legend in our eyes, king owes him nothing. Hes the owner at the end of the day. If it isn’t working - rightly or wrongly Robins was gonna be the one that’s booted. Not the players or coaches - just the one person who was not a King man

who actually cares?!

actually kind of hope we lose the next few to force King into a decision, rather than pissing about with Interim coaches who fluke the odd point here and there.

You really want us to lose games?

Do you think an interim manager is going to be there for a couple of months?

Let's face it, we have started this season fluking the odd point here or there.

Bizarre comments ain’t they - we all have disagreements over manager, players, coaches and owners.

but we’re all supposed to have the same want of having us win every game. Almost as bad as the “hope we go bust so wasps pick up the pieces people”

I think the performance will be very telling
If it is a magical performance, I think this will be backing the decision
If there is no appetite for the game and we lose 5-0, then the opposite (which is what I expect)

can see Haji / Milan/ Sheaf looking for january moves if it is the latter

Good

Dougs words - we are going to take our time...doesnt suggest a couple of weeks to me.

He may have a plan, its just odd he wouldn't say he has.

Would you take us picking up similar points to what we already have by Christmas and Carr still being in charge?

I reckon this is well down the line. The new manager will be place during the international window.

curveball - maybe it is Carsley and we’re waiting for him to finish with England

i hope you're right re: during the window, just an odd comment in the statement, everyone would feel better if Doug at least pretended to have a plan!

I'm actually looking forward to going up there even more now. Will be interesting to see what the team is and if Data Man has radically different ideas to MR.

I will shout "fuck off, Doug" every 30 seconds

It will be pretty funny if they still fail to beat us in these circumstances. Safe journey to you up there.
Yeah, one of our lucky teams. I think this decision will suck the confidence out of the team altogether. Can only see a spanking on the cards.

No idea what the score will be, gonna be a wait to see how we set up first. Guessing not to dissimilar as the coaches often have same ideas as manager

We're going to get fisted 5-0, I despise the mob we're playing and the fact they will be reveling in our implosion, but a battering would still be no less than we deserve

I'm struggling to even give a fuck about this game at the moment you couldn't pay me enough money in the world to go and I am usually there every week
Right - Now I have had time to digest today's events... We can't afford to not give a fuck about the result! We need points... and we don't want those smarmy bastards gloating on us either

Get up there and give them hell and a performance the gaffer would be proud of

I feel 3 or 4 nil to Sunderland. The team is going to be in disarray.

Dreading this game to be honest. I hope we can somehow grab a point but just can’t see it with these bunch of mentally weak pussies

Not the best timing to sack Robins with his record v Sunderland - imagine they'll be relieved:
