I want my team to win no matter who's in charge, it's what true fans do.

And that's coming from someone who has supported this Club for over 65 years through thick and thin, my god we've had some shit over the year's.

City till I die.
I'm not necessarily too focused on 'winning' - more interested in longer term goals but people need to understand that absolutely no good here comes of this becoming our 'Eustace moment'.

Carr is just a guy filling in for a couple of days and (just from his comments on Robins) seems like a decent bloke. Writing him off as an 'iPad wanker' and hoping we lose is not helpful. Those of us that backed Robins are going to have to swallow our pride, get behind the new guy and pray Doug was right and we were wrong.

I am sure Carr has his own ideas of our best formation and personnel, which probably differs a lot to Robins.
I'd like to see him mix it up a bit. He's got one game, as I am sure the new man will be in place by Sheff U.

The people saying this are surely just after some likes on Twitter or need to think a little deeper before placing blame

He's literally just there to fill the bench for one game, which is good because he seems like a right gormless twat.
Whatever happens, good or bad, won't be on him.

I'm not sure he does tbh. Seemed pretty stunned in the press conference and probably didn't expect to be making big calls this weekend. If it all goes horribly wrong for him - he is a relatively inexperienced coach thrown into a difficult situation and I hope the fans recognise that.

Good post. I’m praying!

I'm asking a question. My point would be leadership takes different forms. How can we assume an ineffective or spineless leader from our seats?

Sheaf might well be a shite leader, we don't know. But he was picked by MR and he's backed by his team mates
That’s your job as captain. You need to know who needs encouragement, who needs the clenched fist and let’s get into em.
Who needs barking at and who needs a quiet word.
You can see this from the back of the stadium,if you’re looking.

It's almost like people are just speculating.

Let's face it, they would have no issue speaking to Clive about the match with a bit about robins before.

It's not like they are being paraded round broadgate in front of an angry mob.
LOL, says Mr Speculation with his in-depth line by line analysis of Robins'post match interviews.

Seems a decent bloke and it's pretty out of order to call him a "gormless twat" just because you are hurting.

I'm firmly in the Robins shouldn't be sacked yet camp but we are better than this, it's not about being emotional etc. You called someones behaviour "post sky", i'd say you are acting in a text book post sky perfomative manner. You need to reel it in, Rhys Carr seems a pretty okay guy who worked for, supported and had nowt to do with the decision making to sack Robins.

I'm going by his interview, he might be sound but he came across as a gormless twat. I appreciate he's been thrown into a bad situation but that's how he came across as far as I'm concerned.

what do you want him to say or do?

Nothing. He's probably had no media training, probably would rather have been doing anything else and has been thrown in at the deep end.
Still came across as gormless, I probably would do as well, but I wasn't interviewed and he was.

Very odd. Seems completely at odds for an injured player to be doing the press conference.

It's almost like no-one else would do it, so he has to step-in, which would be utterly ridiculous.
He's an eloquent guy and has experience of this situation. Makes sense to me...

Bristol City fans can't believe he's got the gig, their ex-conditioning coach!! 'blagged ' his chance hahahaha
Doug, you fucking numpty, may have relegated us with one move.

There are plenty of posts below tweets featuring him telling him the club to fuck off.

So Rhys first game in management and away at a difficult team.

Will be interesting to see how we line up. Just checked and can’t see he has ever managed a game before (weird George isn’t covering it).

Line up wise think it’ll be a 4-3-3 (or at least that’s how I would do it)

Dovin
Milan Thomas Binks Dasilva
Sheaf
Torp Rudoni
Sakamoto Wright EMC

I was surprised no one went over to Rudoni and put an arm around him after that disastrous back pass. Seems to be no togetherness.

The game is a write off, but I want to see some fight from these players. Even if we concede 1 or 2, to not see heads drop and revert to type.

Under normal circumstances it’s actually a game we might do better in, and if we can just avoid making ridiculous mistakes at the back and take some chances, we could still get something.

I believe King will pick the team. I’m expecting

Perry Suckling
Ali Pickering Kevan Smith Steve Walsh Steve Morgan
Sandy Robertson Julian Darby Isaias Ray Woods
John Gayle Ian Painter.

With their genuine very good form and our at best indifferent (although therein) I can only see the rocking horse shit aligning for them and a very rare victory over us.

Can't wait.
We CAN win this.
I'm fully expecting us to make a proper racket all game.

Have we sold out? Haven't checked.
