I'm sure you will be boycotting again soon then. I was still there every week in League 2 to be able to talk about the tactics what was going on on the pitch.

Course my opinion is moot because you are busy losing your mind about iPads and tracksuits.

No your opinion is moot cos you post whatever the opposite of what everyone else is saying like diet Grendel. Meanwhile in the real world up until King arrived we were generally recognised as having one of the best setups in the pyramid.

King arrived before the playoff final.

Sorry it’s the internet if you’re doing a bit can you post an emoji at the end or something. Genuinely not sure if you don’t grasp the point being made or are doing a Nick impression.
What’s the point you’re making? That a coaching staff consisting of Mark Robins, Adi Viveash and Dennis Lawrence was a generational powerhouse that could never be bettered and would have inevitably delivered promotion?

Well the evidence does suggest that under that trio , promotion was a possibility at some point .

But we will ofcourse never know

Or I just post what I'm seeing at games. Yeah in league 2 when we were drawing at home to forest green with 2 DMS and 1 striker in last half an hour I did point it out.

Literally nobody said we had the best setup in the pyramid, I'm not sure what real world that was from.

Structures are useful for instilling a base level of competence in an organisation with the drawback of restricting top tier talent. They try and codify mediocrity so those below the level are dragged up, but they also stop exceptional people breaking the mould.

Structures are for when you’re shit and want to be average. But they’re a means to an end. If you’re already at the end there’s no need for a means. Keep doing what you’re doing. You’ve exceeded the structure.
i’ve heard some shite in my time but this really takes the biscuit

absolute waffle

Amazing statement. For someone who knows so much about the game I’m astounded you don’t think Robins and what he’d done was held in high regard.

Honestly I think you’re outing yourself as a fundamentally unserious poster here. Wow. First saying we’ve never played well under him now claiming he was just some curiosity of management term and nothing to do with what he did.

I think it might be time to claim your cousin is posting again.

Well we don’t have a ton of evidence to go on. I personally think the playing staff and then the manager are what decides our fortunes more than anything. The amount of influence people are attributing to individual coaches seems crazy to me but I suppose we’ve got to blame someone.

anyway, unfortunately what’s done is done and there’s no going back now is there. there’s no world in which mark robins comes back to this club unless it’s a few years down the line.

so we have to get behind the team, otherwise we are going to end up as toxic as that season sunderland got relegated to the championship and immediately got relegated to league one. we can’t become that.

And the Performance Director of course. This isnt 1992!

I'm being serious now. You are embarrassing yourself and other posters see it too

The fact i just said robins papered over the cracks for an entire ownership structure shows just how much esteem I hold him in

And I never said we never played well under him. I cited league 1 as great play. And first season back in championship I always stood up for how we passed it around

Just haven't felt last 3 years was free flowing. Never doubted it's effectiveness though

Which was a couple of years ago and even then he made some questionable decisions.

Bringing Palmer on to take him off again. Bringing dabo on etc.
I always say Wilson-Esbrand should have been brought on over Dabo! I’ll never understand why, Dabo was on the way out and was way past his best for us

I can understand Palmer, it was a wildcard we probably needed to play when Hamer went off injured

So you think in the last 3 years we stumbled upon success ?

Is that what I wrote?

I said I don't doubt the tactics effectiveness. Just wouldn't label it as free flowing. More solid efficient and allowing moments of magic

It's vague and a bit strange , effective but shit ?

We never played Like Wimbledon so how did we play ?

He's lost the plot. Took offence to me talking about the real world but he's I'm bizarre world right now. He is sisus biggest fan

No game on Sky you should be watching? Don’t want to lose your status as the world most knowledgable fan.

Me too, to coin a phrase. In the situation we're in now, it feels like a nothing game.

Sacking Robins without having anyone lined up, especially just before an international break, doesn't exactly shout "football genius", does it...

Not if it's Lee Carsley, make the announcement after the international break. 🤔

Solid response I’m convinced.

Im trying to mock you not convince you.

You’re upset because Championship Coventry City weren’t winning every game 10-0 playing like a mix of Total Football Holland and 1970s Brazil and you expect other people to take you seriously?
