Sheaf was poor on Tuesday, in fact he has been off the pace since coming back from injury..

Look very weak with few options in midfield.

Could be a long afternoon.

Clive has just said Sheaf is there and will speak after the match about MR. Surprised he is doing that while he is on strike

I have it on good authority that he's going to rip his shirt off in the centre circle and Doug King is going to run down the tunnel with the Stone Cold Steve Austin music and whack the stunner on him. Then give the city fans the middle finger while shouting "and that's the bottom line"

I'm guessing he's going to say he's bigger than the club, and the squad is going to join him in refusing to play at Sunderland. Then he's going to say something like, "what time's kick off again?".

Let's put it this way, there's a difference between refusing to play and not feeling 100%. It's nothing to do with Robins

Seems unlikely that Sheaf has downed tools completely, to be honest.

It’ll be interesting to hear what he has to say afterwards…time to read between the lines, somewhat, I imagine.

As for the team, uh, I can’t work out the formation, so that’s a good start.

4 kids on the bench , 2 of them GKs, away from home, against top of the league, manager just been sacked. What could possibly go wrong today?? 😂

3-4-1-2 as per last few games

Let's face it, it will be career suicide if he's the club captain and "downs tools" and then gives a statement about the club he's employed by still.

I could understand if it was O'Hare.

I heard Bassette is Robins illegitimate son and that's why he's been left out of the match day squad. King doesn't want any Robins genetics near the team.

I don’t know, I just find it unlikely they both suddenly got injured in two days of light to no training.
If you don't know - then I wouldn't be calling call 'bullshit' on it - there's enough mad theorists on here without a normally sensible one joining the 'gang' ;)

Who knows what King is thinking at this point. He is the only name I have heard though, yes.
Also, players were told no immediate social media posts, wasn't through choice.
I think that's really poor from King, obviously they can't hammer the club but they should have been able to post there respects to the manager on social media. Really, really poor leadership from King but to be expected.

I don't see Sheaf refusing to play, however I can see a situation where a player will risk playing through an injury for some managers, but be less keen for others...

I know I'm going to get abuse for this, but please bear in mind I'm never usually far off

There's players within, and out of that squad today who have made it quite clear they don't fancy it

Same as how I knew Collins was starting yesterday, same as how i know this

Whoever comes in has a royal job on their hands

If our own captain is one of said players, we’re really in a bad way.

EDIT: That’s a big ‘if’.

Any snippets as to who were after?

Like how Bassette didn't fancy it in the week even though he had nearly had his head taken off at the weekend?
