I was at the game - as much Bristol City's fault, as ours. The ball did leave the centre circle, but yes - neither team attempted to beat the other for the duration. They should have got over it by now - pushing 50 years (a lot of things have happened since then at both clubs). It's now just an excuse to stir up a bit of needle.
It's purely because of the internet that it's been raked up and to be honest it's a very small minority.
Besides, most of those who bear a grudge weren't even born in 1977. Those old enough to remember it probably can't be bothered after all this time.

Should always mention that Tommy Hutchison scored our two goals of course!!!!
Seem to remember Hutch not being party to the fact(must not have heard the tannoy) that a draw would do both sides being on his hands and knees thumping the ground in disgust thinking "that's us down" till someone came over and told him.The smile on his face when he heard was a picture.
