I'm going to give everyone a 9 except Jamie & Victor get 10 and Haji got 11 possibly 12.

In addition I'm awarding Saka a medal for valour having been targeted by the Mackems and smacked down on what maybe half a dozen occasions but getting up every time.

I thought grimes was very good today , actually sits like pirlo , not saying hes as good ofcourse but its strange to watch as I'd normally hate a player sit so deep but he could find space in a phone box with gemma Collins
He sits in front of the defence playing that disruptor role but he does it with such craft and elegance it makes him so good to watch.

Hate to use the word but there were some frankly filthy diagonals he was finding today. Teams allow him time on the ball at their peril

Dovin the only one to get below an 8, and that's only because he had nothing to do.

Torp, Allen and Dasilva had probably their best games in a City shirt.

What a difference it made having a striker who can control the ball, and who is so good on the half turn.

Wrights first touch when winning the penalty was filth

Saka even gave it them back on a corner loved it got the crowd even more amped up.

They were all superb today, great team performance hopefully Wright keeps up this performance for the rest of the season, if I had to pick the worst player it would be Kitching I thought his passing was poor at times but that's only nit picking and we got another 3 wonderful points and from them it felt like another 10 points :)

Wright and Allen 9s everyone else 8 , Dasilva was the player today that we all hoped we had signed last season , and if he continues to play that way Bidwell will be spending a long time on the bench.

Worse passing! He hit a 60yard pass to Saka's foot in the right channel

Totally agree, Sakamoto was fantastic. It wasn’t his best game from an attacking perspective but defensively he won every 50:50 and helped the team win the ball high up the pitch. As did Torp and Allen.

The selection dilemma we have is where does Rudoni fit in for Sheffield United? Torp has had 4 goal contributions in 3 matches and Allen was everywhere today. Longer term, it probably will be Grimes-Rudoni-Torp but Allen absolutely earns his spot v Sheff U.

I can only recall one incident where we were left badly exposed by DaSilva and Kitching in the first half. Grimes had a real good go at them for it for about 2 minutes afterwards. He has to be captain. He does the stuff that gives the team time and knits everythink together.

Standouts have to be Allen's amazing performance for 60 minutes. Wrights class, Torps tecnical ability and Saka's excellent energy off the ball.

Dovin 7 Didn't have much to do but calm on the ball. Kept getting them to try and get the ball, leaving space up front for our quick attacks.

Everyone else 8 or above. Wright as close to a 10 as we will ever see. Was everywhere and a constant threat. Cracking strike for his 1st goal on his 'weaker' foot. I hope this game puts to bed that he can only play on the left.

I think Dasilva should be lauded for yesterday, especially. And that's because he's had such vitriol on here for quite some time. Clearly been labelled "shite" and wanted rid of asap.

There is definitely a player in there. I have always said that, along with others on here and I've always said I quite like him, but he does worry me from a defensive standpoint. Too many mistakes and beaten far too easily at times and clearly targeted.

Really pleased he put in such a really good performance yesterday and now obviously, he deserves to keep his place.

We clearly still need a LB/LWB going forward, but can't fault him at all for his efforts in this game yesterday.

I have just edited, I did say not picking when it should have been nit picking, I also have edited to say at times with his passing and yes the crossfield ball to Saka was filthy

The problem is with Dasilva he has 1 good game and then followed by many shite games, we still need better but have to agree he was good yesterday I doubt he has turned a corner but lets enjoy it while we can :)

Torp was absolutely brilliant today. Some player.

He has now developed into the player I was expecting at the start of the season, but he looked so laboured. Now his fitness levels are up to Championship standard and he has got used to the pace of the game, he is starting to deliver consistently.

The other factor I think is the arrival of Grimes, as they both have similar attributes and understand each other.
