Never watched it and have no intention of watching it apart from any episode that features the 5-4 so I if any one can.point out the particular episode that's featured in (if it's featured at all) I'd be grateful.
I watched the first series and really enjoyed it. It does give an insight into the running of a football club, also the amount of money that they have had sloshing around. I loved the song that went with the first series too. Not written specifically for the programme but was written by a Sunderland fan for his grandad who was a shipyard worker.

The CEO In the first series fancied himself a it, and the bloke kicking off at Coleman at the end

I felt sorry for some of the fans to be honest

As with last season, it’s hilarious on so many levels. Halfway through so far and the only disappointment is that there’s not enough of the fans losing their shit (although TBF, they’re still in for promotion). Looking forward to the Cov / double Wembley losses episodes

Posh Rave David Brent is a gold mine...

Yes he did believe in his own hype a bit.
I was no fan if Coleman but the bloke who waited and accosted him outside was an arse. A bit like Pressley when he was here-Coleman was rowing against the tide with a straw.

S D is a boy about town with quite a chequered life. Know alot about him from my local connections here around Oxford. Big jump for him and his team from Eastleigh to Sunderland, seems like a step too far if they don't manage somehow to go up this season (whenever that might end).

The whole thing is a massive fucking cringefest including the intro song mentioned above. Not a patch on other similar programmes as it focuses too much on the divs that support the club and not the inner workings of the club and players. Plus the editing in the first season was poor. Showing wrong footage from matches etc. At least that’s what the first season was like. That being said. Watching it right now.

I think the opposite, the others show a sanitised behind the scenes that a club want to portray, they always come across as some wining machine, this doc actually shows the reality for 95% of football clubs, chaos, divisions and failure i.e. football.

That’s a very good point actually.

Think it's the chairman "any team I've ever supported, never seen them score 4 at home and not win".

Always find statements like that concerning, surely you support one team and that's it?

Its not done well from a creative standpoint imo

Its thr same formula. Say what great fanbase. Show a loss. Showfanbase angry. Show manager say needs time. Show lossm show fanbase. Show chsirmen say hes trying. Show loss. Show fsnbase etc

I just foubd ir boring at times thats all. The Daniel james signing saga was much more interesting in the leeds docu

Qpr one years ago was brilliant. With flavio being a mad man

Each to his own. I enjoyed it. The song appeals to my sentimental nature!

Very good follow up to season 1. I know some may disagree with me but I feel their pain, loyal supporters who just want something to hang on to.
I warmed to their owner in a way that Bains fella grated on me last year.
When the father said to his son we have been here before and the lady asked why is it never us that's celebrating? The hurt was to the bone.
I just hope we don't feel that way in the near future.

Nice bit about our match I thought. Nothing about any trouble. They made more of a thing about the trouble in the Pompey match.

3 episodes in. This season is much better than the last one so far. Way more focus on the actual club shenanigans rather than wasting time on some sugar puff toothed dipstick crying because they lost a couple of games.
