You've totaly missed the point here.
It's not the delay in the kick off that pissed Sunderland off, it's the fact that the other final scores were displayed on the scoreboard while our game was still in play, which allowed us and Bristol City to play out the last 15 minutes or so in a non competitive way.
If either of the teams had scored in the final 15 minutes, then Sunderland would have survived.

Either way, if you blame your club's outcome on the last 15 mins of the final game of the season then perhaps you haven't given too much thought to how your team played over the 4000 minutes up to that point. (If it was anythig like last might, I'd stay silent )

I can see how you might be a bit pissed for an afternoon, whereas the 40 years of hurt bit is just laughable.

Edit: Given, also, that they simply could have relayed the message from the touchlines, I imagine Jimmy's actions were more geared towards the spectators. The use of display is this matter is really a bit of a red herring.

Haha 'Blown your brains out' love it. Are you posting from heaven or Hell!!! I think the Butchers Arms is a micropub. I've been there once. Hope you enjoyed your time in sunny Herne Bay. Please feel free to come again:shamefullyembarrased:

I used to live almost next door to it and use it all the time - great little pub. Had a sign on the window - NFL which stood for no fucking lager!

Its always the same with these idiots- "we were sucked into their game", "we didn't play how we can", "its a horrible league". "we are better than them but we made mistakes", "we are throwing it away" etc

Constant excuses and constant attempts to avoid the brass tacks here...

They are not f**king good enough
you forgot "the refs are shite"

First two are funny as

I have a sneaking suspicion that the second bloke interviewed may have indulged himself with one or two gentleman's beverages, call it a hunch, I could be wrong?
