Where’s the guy who kept banging on about Baka stats game to mins ratio ?

I want to see the updated stats please :)

1 goals every 214 minutes in the league.

1 goal in every 190 minutes this season.

Or

3 in 13 league matches
4 in 15 matches overall

Unless the page that I'm using is wrong that's the stats

Thought Dabo had a good game but was caught sleeping at the throw in which led to their goal

I think we should revert back to 2 upfront with max and hiwula... Cant keep with a sole striker
I’m not sure on this mate I do like 2 up front but feel shipley and Zain are playing well max will link play a lot better than Baka has

I reckon if we had 2 uptop today we'd have come away comfortable winners, 1 striker gives the defenders nothing to think about really.. We looked really dangerous against posh with 2

Interesting to see what he does next week I think it’s either 2 up front or he drops Baka if he goes 2 up front who do you see dropping out though ? I think looking at it kelly Walsh Shipley Zain all playing well just can’t see him dropping any of them mate

Robins does have questions to answer on this one.
Walsall were chuffed to get rid of him.
When money is so tight what the hell were we doing spending money on someone struggling to get in their team?

to answer your question, it means 2 things to me

1) we are hard to beat
2) that sort of ratio will always mean we will always be looking up and not down in the league
Exactly, not playing badly and still scoring (just not many). It was obvious that we were going to be absorbing a lot of pressure in the second half but we needed to be a little more quick on the counter. Wycombe are going to drop back at some stage and Ipswich aren’t exactly consistent either so lots to play for. Jan signings could be key for a lot of team up there

We have paltry crowds going to see our team and we are expecting a top striker????? Scumderland had 29k and they haven't even got a top striker!
Baka had a slightly better game yesterday but he cannot hold the ball up because 9 times out of 10 he can't get the ball under control and it gets taken off him, for an alleged £350k player that itself is shocking, Hiwula offers the odd goal here and there but his all round game is fucking shocking, need to shift these 2 lightweights out asap and try to get someone who actually offers a threat, may as well have Ponticelli as back up striker as these 2 ,not that he is an answer by any stretch

Have a day off. Both Baka and Hiwula are miles ahead of Ponticelli

A really enjoyable autumn ding-dong on ifollow.

It became increasingly clear that they would equalise as we started to sit deeper and deeper over the last 15 minutes. How much of that was due to Sunderland's growing urgency is hard for me to say. The draw still felt like a win to me, which shouldn't be right. Normally I'd be apoplectic. I think I was convinced they'd drub us at their place and kick-start their season.

Westbrooke is becoming very good. I thought Mason did well too.

Bakayoko is an oaf.

Baka was immense yesterday in that he pressed their defence, won headers and held the ball up for team mates. He ran himself into the ground.
It showed that they only came into the game when he went off as we had no outlet up front and the ball kept coming back at us.
Admittedly he missed a couple of chances which would have put the game to bed.
I know he’s come back from injury and was probably rusty but Hiwula offered nothing when he came on as did O’Hare.
I’d be playing Baka and Max if they’re fit until Goddens ready.

Looking at the table after 18 games last season, we are slightly better off, by 2 points and are 9 points off the top rather than 10. We had won more games at this stage last season though.

Next few fixtures are crucial you feel, could easily fall to mid-table with a bad run. Get to Jan in the mix though and we can kick on.

A lot of teams have tough runs of fixtures. Take Wycombe their next 9 games are against top half teams. They play us and Ipswich twice in that time for example. The games in hand is also not as easy as some think as a lot of teams play each other in those games.

Of course, but that's always the case and we have a tough run too. The point being, we about where we were at this stage last season, which is frustrating as we are clearly a better side this term. Shows we're probably 5 or 6 points short of where we really ought to be. Those points in the bag would mean that any wobble wouldn't be too damaging, but that's stating the obvious I guess. Still, we're still in the mix and have players returning.

Agreed, I don't think people realise what a difficult role Baka is playing. I feel a bit sorry for him as he does work hard for the team and is a much better player than when we first signed him. He's just not got the killer touch. Whether he can get it or not is debatable but it's really unfair to single him out.
