Yes; I entirely agree, it is about personal choice, but I hope that anyone attending "home" games at Sixfields realises that they are supporting and possibly prolonging Shitzu's stay.

SUPPORT THE TEAM, NOT THE REGIME

I think that says it all really!

We should not be having potshots at fans that want to go Sixfields, or those that are only going away games. A geordie friend said this was there slogan. That is there choice and no one fan has the right to climb up on a soapbox and tell anyone otherwise. It's all about the 11 players on the pitch wearing sky blue and nothing else.

How the fook can you compare what is happening to Newcastle to our plight, I would swap places with them in a heartbeat. If the Geordies were in our position they would be foaming at the mouths and it would be plastered over every paper every day if they had to play at Sunderland or whatever.

No problem with fans going to six fields to watch a Northants 2nd 11 as long as you don't claim to be watching Coventry City.

I got a bit of grilling for suggesting I will support Cov Utd next season but the point was I will be staying in Coventry to support a local team on a Saturday, might even be a pub team but it will be better then Northampton. Support the City of Coventry not the team.

Trouble is the money SISU are using is not there own, it belongs to investors. They will not leave until they make a profit

Everyone has a cut off point.

Besides if is about making them more amenable to the idea of returning to the Ricoh.

The only way that can possibly happen would be a complete no show by the fans.

Actually it would be the Newcastle fans getting asked to travel to Darlington 36 miles away 10 k capacity.

Whilst St James. Park ( SDS) sat empty

Great idea, lets just all plod along like lemmings and just be complicit in everything that's going on. Problem solved wish id though of that. No disrespect.

You wouldn't get any Geordies giving a stuff about the landlord whatever the circumstance. They'd raid the council house and demand the keys to the ground.

That's the truth of it.
However at the same time. I would imagine the owner suggesting it would be chased out of the toon

The plain fact is anyone going to Sixfields is supporting the actions of Sisu. You get your fix of Saturday (oh no, it isn't is it!) in the short term and prolong CCFC's exile out of Coventry. Utterly selfish.
I'll be horrible for me not to watch City 'home' games, but I just won't do it. Even the players don't want to do it, Carl Baker has gone public on it. The manager doesn't want it. Yet misguided (and thoughtless) fans go along with it, like lambs to the slaughter. Shame on you.

I agree. I'm not going - and that's hard after 40 years - but I certainly won't be having a go at anyone who does want to go.

The City of Coventry will not be the same without it's team - CCFC. I simply cannot support any other team/notion/idea

I think that this rally should be to keep Coventry in Coventry but then also keep any fans planning to go out of Coventry at the same time, what with them being the enemy now. Boo!

Torchy, you're a more tolerant bloke than me and obviously a brilliant fan. I want the Sixfield minority to know what the fans think of them. The future of the club is at stake. You know that, I know that. This minority don't care.

one thing i dont understand is how can some so called fans love their club day in day out and then just dismiss them as soon as a groundshare is annouced?

i understand boycotting and fears of permanent moves,i 100% can agree with that

but all this stop supporting ccfc and turn to coventry utd is BS, the sky blues aint dead yet so dont act like they are, go games or dont go,both are trying to help the club, but stop following results and hoping for wins? GO FUCK YOURSELF.

While we sing together, we will never lose unless the club moves away at which point I'm completely giving up on them.

It is watching Coventry, the team doesn't change because they've moved 'temporarily'.

Now if that move becomes permenant, then I'd agree with your point but 'if' SISU press ahead and build a new stadium and move back, do they not become CCFC again?

I don't agree with what's happening but I don't think that by losing supporters for games played in Notthampton, it will make SISU go any quicker. If anything, they will just liquidate the club. Maybe starting from scratch is what we need.

Erm, yes they are. What percentage of fans would you estimate still continue to support MK Dons that were originally Wimbledon fans? Take the team out the City and its no longer our team.

Get your tin hat, the morons are coming and they'll call you either:
a) a scab
b) a 'SHITSU' employee
c) Tim Fisher

I particularly like the comical play of Fisher's surname when someone uses "Tim Fishface." I giggled so hard, I ended up in Northampton.

Agreed. The amount of idiots claiming we're now "Northampton Town Reserves" is astonishing.

if it was temporary move they would all still support wimbledon!

stop assuming that we have permanently moved, if that happens then it is the time to find a new coventry club.

If you mean the MK Dons fans, no, they wouldn't, as they are from Milton Keynes. Only 14 Wimbledon fans are left still supporting MK Dons!

Ok, let me let you into a little secret. SISU WILL NOT RETURN TO COVENTRY. They will never build a stadium. Its all about the Ricoh for them and always was.
