The posts about the location of the George and John statue served to remind me that the rail underpass is frequently wet and muddy a less hazardous and dryer surface at the bottom would be desirable.

Is there anything the club can do directly or indirectly to improve it?

Safety aside, it just looks (and usually smells) awful as well.
Not the best first impression visiting the ground

They got better lighting so I’m sure they can influence

On decorations, while I think everyone appreciates the work done to make the stadium look like home, please could they just focus on the outside.

The stadium just looks ten times its age, with the sky blue cladding looking tired and the sticker residue still showing Wasps. Even the main entry sign at the roundabout is missing cladding on top.

The club doesn’t own the stadium but can influence changes especially if they are willing to pay

winds me up every time I see it. Can't be that hard to get rid of.

as for the rest of the outside if they can't sort the cladding and make it look half decent why not look at stadium wraps. the sort of thing you see on scaffolding these days for advertising. If its affordable for some temporary scaffolding it should be affordable for a stadium.

would also mean once the kit for putting it up was in place you could change it every season or two or even change it for other events at the stadium.

I know how it sounds but it really winds me up every time I see it and where the wasps badge used to be on the metal cladding near the casino.

If money was to spent this is where I’d want it going but understand it won’t be high on anyone’s list

Pete liked this in the other thread but i should also put it in the correct place...

I can't believe we're in a position where this may now be required but the stadium clearly needs some jigging about inside to segregate without losing piles of seats/potential customers.
@Sky Blue Pete one for your future meetings perhaps.

Knowing their propensity for cheapness, it was probably one of those stickers with the overly sticky backs that starts peeling. Right bastard to sort if you’ve ever tried taking one off a jar!

Can you ask if they can start selling cans at the bars to speed up the process. If you watch the whole first half it is impossible to get a drink at half time and drink it before the second half (whether you go to an outside bar or inside).

They sell cans in the concourse near blocks 32/33, but pretty sure they have to pour these into plastic cups.
Some away grounds do beer in plastic bottles which might be a solution?

The main issue recently is the amount of people buying stout which takes ages to pour, if you can find the bars that don't sell stout the are a lot quicker

Love the wrap of Highbury. It's a nice reminder.

I think wraps would be great at CBS.

They couldn't get this right when 10,000 people turned up, and have yet to fix it. If I'm having a beer then I have to go down at 40 mins to get a beer and have time to drink it.

I’ll probably get shot for this but one of the answers to our submitted questions is new information to me
Obviously can’t share them before the meeting but we have to have a long term deal for where we are going to play (10 years) I think in place by the end of the 2025 season.

Is this new or am I just not keeping on top of everything?

Club are clear that it’s only a fine but the leverage should be useful shouldn’t it

Think this has always been the rule but it wasn't really enforced with SISU. Probably as the authorities knew they wouldn't think twice about winding the club up or taking the EFL to court.

Suspect now we have stable ownership there's a bit of pressure to comply with the rules and sort things out long term.
