Why is the supporters forum not being utilised to get feedback/constructive criticism on club plans such as family zone changes, disabled fans Changes etc ?
It’s tricky - I think John Taylor would be up for some form of supporters consultation but that’s not what this is
Although the chair and I will raise issues with him and he follows through on them including
Family zone
Jsb
Mmj season tickets
Parking

How do you know that was a majority of fans?
Tbf Pete at the Everton game more people were standing in block 15 then in the safe standing zone.
We noticed it and had a laugh about it at the time.
But lets see how it pans out need a few games to see what happens.

Is there anything they can do about getting people in quicker when ‘paper’ ticket sales are high? Last season we had major issues getting people in for kick off against Middlesbrough (first home game, many people’s ST cards hadn’t arrived), Oxford and Sheff Wed (both cup games).

Appreciate a lot of it is down to user error but is there any improvement i.e. tickets in an Apple Wallet that could slicker things?
Im not sure as people would still have issues with the bar code.

I’m thinking more an Apple Pay type solution. Might not even exist, haven’t a clue.
If you can tap in on your phone at places like Edgbaton, Institute, Brum Academy, Wolves Civic then there's zero reason it can't be used at the CBS

Any plans to develop the outside bars into a full on fanzone. Under cover area like a marque…big screen showing interviews, match clips, stalls selling scarfs and stuff. Etc etc etc ? Thanks Pete

Can WiFi be improved in the ground

Can we keep our bottle tops, at least in the family zone , although with cctv and so many season tickets, who the he'll do they think will throw it? Always getting kicked over and spilling down the steps, means you can't keep stuff under your seat.

Can the club shop be open after the game

Lots of plans constantly looking for ways to get people to the ground early and spend money and build the atmosphere

Did the club have any input into the post match road closures ?
How do they think people get to and from the games, other than driving ,there are very few options.
The road closures will cause awful traffic problems and I can nt see how the parties do not understand this. What is the decision based on ?
They do
Safety
At least 3 near misses last season

So 23 home games, 25000 average and 3 near misses equals road closures, traffic jams, angry motorists who just need to get home, polution pumped in the air from grid locked roads.
whoever dreamt this up probably dreamt up a stadium with no public transport .

Wifi seems fine now, works in the stadium bowl for me.

Just take a bottle top in your pocket,

Bloody hell Pete, where have you been?

Earlier this year the Sky Blues sent a survey to supporters to gauge their views on safe standing, including their preferred location in the Arena for this to be introduced. Over 80% of supporters who completed the survey supported the introduction of safe standing within the stadium with over 70% stating the preferred location for installation being Singers Corner.

John Taylor, Chief Operating Officer at Coventry City, said:

“I would like to thank all supporters who engaged with the club survey earlier this year as this provided valuable feedback to the club on this subject matter. The Club has looked to balance supporter safety regarding persistent standing while also looking to enhance the matchday experience for the Sky Blue Army.”

Any plans for a new club app which alongside news updates, video etc can also allow purchase of tickets (through multiple payment systems eg Apple Pay) as well as allow tickets to be sent to Wallet to avoid the need to print out before match day?

I'm not sure if this has already been answered.

Will the address on file have to match your card details when buying tickets moving forward like it did when buying ST?

(It was fine buying Everton tickets)

See, I heard somewhere (possibly on here) that bottles can’t be sold with lids because in the event of evacuation a bottle with a lid on doesn’t crumple and becomes a safety hazard. I’d never thought about it before that and had always assumed it was due to throwing.

Second the shout for us not to be kicked out if we’re forced to wait half an hour after the game. Especially if it’s raining.
I think you are supposed to wait in your car, where you can listen to the CWR phone in.

If everyone with cars parked in the area waited until the roads re-open before walking to them, they would have to re-close the roads because of all the bloody pedestrians walking to their cars.

Pete, could you ask about water fountains please. I believe all event venues are supposed to provide drinking water by law.

Really good point. Allow people to take reusable water bottles and provide drinking water. Think they do at Wembley so I'm sure we can manage!

1) What was the rationale for the location of the safe standing given the overwhelming preference of supporters for it to be in Singers Corner.

2) Does the club intend to take action to enforce sitting/ stop persistent standing in areas other than the safe standing?

3) If the answer to (2j is yes, what will that action be?

4) If the answer to (2) is no, why did the club bother to introduce safe standing and at what cost?

They did at Wembley. Also at Wimbledon too this summer.

Last season I asked for some tap water at one of the kiosks at the CBS and was told you certainly don't want to drink the water we have in the taps. They gave me bottled water instead but this is really poor for the environment.
