What a stupid question that was aswell. Bloke seems thick as mince.

I mean, he is a grown man playing a drum at a football stadium.

No offence 🤣

Can you get some clarification on the road closures.

Winding House Lane is clearly shown as closed on the website yet every week more and more people are ignoring the closure and coming out of Burbages Lane and driving down Winding House at speed.

Not ideal when people are walking in the road assuming it is closed.

Questions I’d like answering is

how important is the Academy going to be moving forward? And will the new head coach look to use this more than Mark did during his 7 and half years in charge. (Only 3 noticeable graduates Bayliss, Shipley and Eccles….)

Rail connectivity was billed as a big feature of 'Arena 2000' IIRC. Just look at how it's turned out :(
You can see Fraser's applying this pressure on the private companies that hide behind provision?

Can we get a definitive answer on whether we actually went for Chris Ramsey and if so what happened
If what @usskyblue said is true then as soon as the Ramsey appointment was vetoed then MR must have known he was on his way out. King is never going to answer the question and I was surprised at the forum that nobody challenge his answer that no coaches/assistants they interviewed were suitable. I would have thought someone like Rosenior, if interviewed, would have been a good fit.

Implication that someone.like him would have been first choice, funny I can remember a conversation on here recently that suggested this very scenario?

First question from the floor challenged it he didn’t answer

We did. CR spoke with MR at Ryton on October 9th. The performance director subsequently called CR to tell him the owner didn’t think the timing was right. That was on, or prior to October 14th.

Why would Rosenior want to be an assistant with his experience?

That's another of those things that doesn't quite sit right for me.

I know it's still conjecture but the way King was very careful in how he worded his response to the assistant question and that allegedly Dr Roberts called to say it wasn't the right time. Just seems like it may have been designed to give King plausible deniability when saying MR hadn't found a candidate he liked.

There was some talk a couple of months back about the club laying on busses from parts of the city to the stadium on match days, which descended into a free bus pass for a month. Just wondering if any progress is being on this or if it's been put on the back burners.

I know that quite a few would use a bus service from Hersall Common, Earldson high street etc and would have a big impact of congestion/pollution.

Also, can anything be done about the fans underneath the scoreboard when they're leaving the stadium and coming against the flow upto car park A. Possibly removing the barrier/wall between blocks 12-13 and allow fans to walk on the interior side of the bowl.

Might he interesting to know if he has a timeline for appointing a DoF? I feel that role is a pretty important piece in the current set up.

Isn’t this one all about match day experience rather than on the pitch stuff?

It was all part of the green travel plan regulations at the time the stadium was built. Reduced car parking and alternative travel to the stadium i.e. rail station that was delayed and poorly planned in my opinion. Brighton as an example have the rail and bus travel spot on from when their stadium was built.
Free bus and train travel

Home and away fans can travel free on buses and trains within the Free Travel Zone on production of your Premier League matchday or season ticket.

This applies for most services between 11.30am and 9pm for a 3pm kick-off and between 4.15pm and midnight for a 7.45pm kick-off.

Pete,

I hope you are well.

We are currently reviewing the shuttle service in detail and ideally want to expand as much as we can. We are working on a few plans, but we want to ensure we do things correctly.

The first step was to get the current set-up running and iron out any potential concerns and then build from this point.

We will ensure we keep people updated as things progress.

Thanks
John

That's brilliant, and such a world away from the dog's breakfast we've got.
