again from tonight that king kept saying first team coach not assistant. So in theory king was the one pushing for that specific role not robins.

Agree with this.Not at all, I think many people expected to pelt Doug King because they had it in their minds it was him/his people that got rid of AV and then Robins.
As it happens, it was Robins who got rid of AV and wanted the much-maligned flat coaching setup.
Many people had decided it was Dr Roberts who was the evil genius behind this all. Which seems to be miles off the mark.

I was expecting him to say basically anything besides ‘because he dismantled the coaching setup’. Incredibly divisive thing to say if it’s not true and perhaps even if it is.Didn't like that one bit tonight ,I'm sorry but to put the blame on Robins for everything and take credit for the good isn't leadership .

Agree but how many other manager sackings relate to a manager who has achieved as much as Mark Robins did at Coventry for as long as he had.Incredible what we've witnessed tonight if you think about it. What other manager sackings get this kind of transparency and bombshell moment?
