Does anyone know if we can access a full version to listen again?
Probably like Claire Roberts picking the team and tactics. Why on earth would the Owner be involved in organising the coaches? I'd say that out of all things was definitely not his fault.
Which would be a good thing for the club no?
The players and staff do travel on the same coach.Wouldn’t travel on the same coach. They do it one after the other
Bombshell threw everything out
The lady who asked the first question after that was great and he didn’t answer as was the lad of here after
It wasn’t very fair of him to throw mr under the bus but I can’t believe how many in the room and on here were like oh well robins is the past and king is the future so thanks but we move on
I don’t really like him he’s arrogant and answers as if he knows everything when he clearly can’t know everything
That said he fronted up and didn’t do bad - he didn’t really answer the question of why
It seemed to be because his coaches aren’t good enough and results are going to get us relegated which doesn’t quite work
It will be on the cwr site I thinkDoes anyone know if we can access a full version to listen again?
Better than him making such a determination on his own?Nor sure why someone who confessed to not knowing anything about football would be booked over Robins?
Keep saying it but someone's been in his ear
He will have a say in manager (head coach) hiring but beyond contract and negotiation of pay I wouldn't expect him to be involved in coach hiring. My bad , hiring ?
Did he say he has a say in who gets hired ?
Text book whataboutery! But I do think that the AV ‘revelation’ was a diversion tactic that worked.
It’s on the BBC Sounds app.Does anyone know if we can access a full version to listen again?
Based on current performances, not many but that’s the point. These players need the coaches to develop them into Prem players. If the MR regime wasn’t doing that, it’s a problem. AV had an elite coaching pedigree and who’s replaced that vacuum?it’s not that easy though
he got lucky
please tell me out of this current squad would make it in the prem?
we’ve spent 40 mill, how many of this ‘deck’ would make the jump to the prem?
The hate for her is frankly bizarre it's like everyone is looking for a scapegoat beyond the obvious.Probably like Claire Roberts picking the team and tactics.

Not sure. At least he’s reinvested the receipts from Vik and Hamer rather than bank it all. What’s your point? He’s trying to grow the value of the squad - a good thing!it’s not that easy though

Was he trying to say the role Robins wanted to recruit was effectively head coach thus making him redundant.Agree with this. That whole part was very confusing. Sounded like they interviewed good candidates but MR essentially never put a CV in front of him and said “I want this one”.
But at the same time, some of them also didn’t want to be Number 2s?
Bizarre.
Text book whataboutery!
Interviewer: Why did you sack Robins?
DK: Why did Robins sack Vivesh?
I: I don't know - why did Robins sack Vivesh?
DK: I shall proceed to not tell you in a lot of word.
I quite admire it.
Definitely not, not a single person has even read that article, I’ve a pop up for Tesco, then a pop up for Aldi, another for something else and that’s just one line into the article, rinse and repeat the amount of pop up ads, no one has ever read that unless you are over 60 and still have it physically delivered to you.do you really think the reason they fell out was because of a newspaper article?
Agreed ,and the stubbornness to accept her role is even weirderThe hate for her is frankly bizarre it's like everyone is looking for a scapegoat beyond the obvious.
I'm not sure I get this take either, he hasn't said anything beyond Robins and Adi's relationship fell down that's his right to say. He probably wouldn't have without the backlash but such is life.Got a feeling Robins lawyers will now be asking for a bit more in his settlement agreement
The same squad who are up for a fire sale if we go down? Not sure. At least he’s reinvested the receipts from Vik and Hamer rather than bank it all. What’s your point? He’s trying to grow the value of the squad - a good thing!
He is the owner and it is ultimately his prerogative but looking in from the outside I personally disagree with that decision....It seemed to be because his coaches aren’t good enough and results are going to get us relegated which doesn’t quite work
It’s been suggested that Dempster and Delaney could go back to their old jobs, no? Or was that ITK guesswork? He stated that the standard of coaching wasn’t good enough, I was in the room and could see that he thought he’d fucked up with the way he answered that question and then backtracked.
Really wouldn’t surprise me to see a few of them out the door in the next couple of weeks.

It's not word for word, no... it wasn't supposed to be.That's not how it went. Unless you turned off
Absolutely I'd expect most clubs of our size would have her role people seem more annoyed that the role has been taken by a woman which lets be honest says more about them.Agreed ,and the stubbornness to accept her role is even weirder
Only a few players who step up with promoted teams make it in the prem. Look at Gus - he came back down, and no PL club went in for him. Brereton Diaz barely plays for a sh*t Southampton etc etcit’s not that easy though

He did a great job of telling us how fantastic a manager Mark Robins had been and that he didn't really have much option but to throw him under a bus, for the benefit of the club.If he’s told the truth, I have no problems with anything he’s said. Especially because of the narrative behind the coaching structure and who was involved in getting rid of AV. The reason it was a curveball because people had this idea that it was all Doug and Dr Roberts.
You can forgive our form being what it is if you believe the manager has the team around him to turn things around. From what DK said, he lost faith in Robins as he believed the ‘tried and tested’ formula was MR and AV, which is something the fan base as a whole believed in too. The difference being they didn’t think it was Robins sacking his long time associate.
There are two things I’m sceptical of:
1) was MR blocked from hiring Ramsey
2) did King/hierarchy jettison the Matty James deal
I don’t trust King’s narrative 100% but it dispelled a few toxic narratives that started to brew on this forum and the fan base as a whole. I personally felt that he handled the occasion well and did a good job of cooking the temperature of the situation.
Not about this squad making it to the prem though as it is this squad getting into the top six.it’s not that easy though

Ultimately this is your point. Ie MR needs to stay. DK felt we were at risk by keeping him. Afraid it’s his call - we both have to hope he’s right! The same squad who are up for a fire sale if we go down?

Good. Costly but the standard from a outsider view point looks poor and would rather a new head coach works with his team and not handy downs from the last managerthe coaching staff are worried many expect to be gone soon
Not about this squad making it to the prem though as it is this squad getting into the top six.
As is the way doubt many of them would play if we went up.
