When you come back with the thoughts of 25k then we can discuss.

Which is my point. This is not a cross section of attendees and when the next game takes place - Sheffield Utd - there will be zero split.

It's in the statement released by the club!
Says structure set up over the last two years. I would imagine that refers more to the performance director, recruitment guys etc than the first team coaches.

From what Doug said at the fan forum surely he must be open to letting the new manager choose his own coaching staff?

Pick a fucking side, stick to it, give pelters to those that don’t agree with you and bigger pelters to those that don’t pick a side.

On this particular subject; I believe some of what was said but feel that there were things omitted and some spin.

Either way, we’ve got to move on.. not that we will..

I hope he brings in a complete new coaching staff personally.

People shouldn't have created untrue rumours on places like this then, that subsequently spread like wildfire and became fact. It became impossible to ignore, which resulted in where we are now.
Nah, I thought we’d established that social media exists in a bubble, and people can post whatever they like without ever affecting the real world?

But your point makes no sense. Are you saying that out of say, 2k members on SBT (not sure on total SBT members), only a small % of them go regularly? If so, that's likely a fair point.

However, even if you take that small sample size, there's differences between those who go regularly. There's plenty on here who see differently on the subject - those differences aren't confined to the small % of the 25k who are on here.

It reads like you're saying that SBT is divided on the subject but the 25k that go regularly don't have any divisions amongst them on the subject. If that's not what you're saying, I apologise but that's how it reads.

And is nonsensical if it is what you're saying.

Tbf i'm regularly surrounded by gormless dribblers, the kind that call Haji Wright, Haji Shite (hilarious) and make you wonder if evolution is working backwards. I couldn't give a fuck if the split is me vs 24,998 others from what i hear

Very few of those 2,000 post that regularly.

Most people who attend matches have a total different view to those who then enjoy sounding off on forums. Also they - like many forms of social media - assume characteristics and behaviours in a different manner to the real world.

like a lot of people i'm sure, we spent the first 5-10 mins on monday night just saying what the fuck.

but i thought king was reasonable. and i was very much of a mind that robins had been unfairly treated before the forum.
but what he said made sense, and answered a lot of the questions that had been bouncing around this forum for weeks/months.
adi and mark may give their accounts at some point, but i don't expect them to differ too much from what we know now.

we need to give king the benefit of the doubt, and just hope now that he makes the right decision. the biggest decision this club's had to make in a number of years.

I hope I'm wrong but is there a chance we are going to be the Doug King show now?
I don’t think anymore so then now to be honest.

I’ve been lucky to win a couple of corporate tickets through my work and he was often going into the areas to say hi and chat with people. Last time I went he was almost hiding away in the directors box.

I think he likes to show off in a sense, when it’s going well and why not it’s a fortune to own a football club and you never see any money back. Think that will continue but can’t see anything further. With his talk of directors of football, I get the impression he wants to reduce his input in certain areas. After all he looked knacked on Monday and upset imo.

So just to be clear, you're saying the majority of the 25k in a stadium don't give two hoots about the current situation?

As I say, I hope I'm wrong
I'd heard a while back that everything at the club revolves around Doug
No problem if it's a success, which hopefully it will be
Time will tell
