"Of Peterborough's 40 goals scored this season, 25 have been scored at London Road, but they have also conceded more goals at home than any other team with the exception of Nottingham Forest. Both sides have conceded 19 home goals so far this season.
Thorn admitted, “We know what they are about and know they are capable of scoring goals. It’s important that we are solid, first and foremost, because Saturday’s goal was another preventable one.
“We know what they are about and we have just got to go to Peterborough and play. We’ve got to be bold and brave. Hopefully it will be an entertaining game but we have got to go there to win the match.”
The City boss will persist with his preferred diamond midfield formation."
Maybe me and AT don't think alike here, because I would say staying solid is not right at the top of our agenda right now. We don't stay solid in any game at all anyway and that's the whole point of us keep giving silly goals away.Too much pressure on the defence. Looking at the stats it would surely point to Peterborough scoring at least 1 goal on Saturday, so it's all about how many we score. They also have a poor record of conceding. Not at all convinced that we should stick with the diamond as it is hardly producing any goals for us at all, especially away from home. 6 goals scored in 10 away games.
I think if we try to keep it tight and sit back we will be beaten.
Probably be beaten if we attack too, but unless we try we'll never know will we.
