I would agree on the England shirt... I don't like a lot of the current wave of new shirts but had assumed that was maybe just my age showing... I have 2 England shirts, the 3rd kit from 1990 (Sky Blue (y) ) and a red one from 2004 which I got because I was convinced we were going to win Euro 2004 while I was on honeymoon

The 2006 red England shirt is my favourite of all time that I've actually got. Can't beat the 1982 Admiral one though, got a couple of knock off versions of that. Red and White.

I have seen the 1987 shirt go for £200 as well

I have that one alright (and the shorts & socks 🤭) - I don't have any other shirts apart from the 2 England ones, a Cork City one from 2005 and a Liverpool one from 1998 which I won while at university.. but when it comes to CCFC I have pretty much all of them throughout the late 70s, 80s, 90s & 2000s up to the brown Puma one (2010?), then again from the Nike one in 2018 (which is ridiculously tight like its painted on) - got drawers full of the things. Apart from the Hummel ones my favourite was always the yellow Umbro one from... would be 85 I guess?

Yeah, that 82 one is a classic. Also one I liked, that probably not a lot of people do, was the 2002 reversible one.
All the recent ones I've bought have been red away tops. They definitely look better than the white.

Really? I have one at my parents' somewhere, and the red one which we had at about the same time, small child size (obviously)

Both those shirts worth at least upwards of 200-500 quid if they got badge on. A lot less without but still in 100’s!

Still got a long sleeve version of that reversible one somewhere.

I used to collect shady ripoffs with name on the back every time I went on holiday as a kid.

Looks really well put together, for a young lad starting out I think it's a good idea.

Sends a bit about the club the shirt is from as well

It's mad, isnt it?! I was looking at that Wegerle shirt and my wife pointed out 'you're considering spending £150 on a 30 year old, second hand t shirt.' Does seem a bit crazy when you say it like that. Still, if anyone wants to sell any 90s shirts at 2018 prices, I'm your man!!
Sold a long sleeve 87-89 Hummel shirt for £80 about 8 years ago.
I'd be looking at about £250 at least these days due to the rarity of it!
Currently sitting on a match worn 90-92 Asics shirt. Not that desperate to get rid yet.
Also got a long sleeved player issue Black puma (stadiarena) - really nice shirt with labels still on.
Used to wear Adidas predators when playing too. Looked after them and had all the rare ones that are worth a bomb these days.... used to do some work in the US in my early 20s and gave them all away to families that looked after me - along with a load of city and England shirts too!!!.....
Still have the Red Ribero chewitt wrapper, Asics 93 and pony 94 in absolute mint condition.

Also got a yellow "Wegerle 17" too!!!

Not got any city shirts. Got a few foreign ones though...

Greece... Olympiacos and FC Platanias both from early 2010's
Turkey... Besiktas limited edition memorial shirt to their old stadium.
Italy.... Inter and Bologna (gorgeous) both from around 2016/7

Used to have rare Boca Juniors and Flamengo shirts from the mid 90's but not in great condition so binned them (what a mistake!)

I really rate Macron as a manufacturer at the moment, doing a bit of a Hummel across Europe and picking up some decent clubs and providing quality kits.... Bologna, Lazio, Deportivo, Bruges, Hadjuk Split (superb), Bucharest (superb), Piacenza, Paok, and so forth...

The only non CCFC shirt I have is a Cameroon international top - from my mate , who comes from........ !

Edit: As a kid of about 7/ 8 years old I remember my first shirt (and only non CCFC shirt) being a West Ham top. Not sure why my dad got it me - but it was the Bobby Moore, Geoff Hurst era, so may have been why. The thrill of getting a new football kit or ball back then still evokes powerful memories from when I was a football daft kid.
Exactly the same - I Even had 6 on the back
