SISU was also the name of an Finnish engine company - these are known as strong pullers , good on fuel ⛽️

When we played Cheltenham in a pre season friendly in 2011, at a guess, we had a SISU out banner. One of their fans approached us all confused wondering what was meant by it, because it was Finnish for strength etc. We said okay, and walked away.

End of boring story.

You could have just explained it you sausage. Banner was surely there to raise awareness wasn´t it?

SISU is a brilliant word in Finnish, no argument there. Whether the company of the same name who own us, deserve to be associated with it, is a whole different matter.

Do the Finns have a word for "Reckless hedge fund who aren't very good at winning court cases against incompetent councils", do you think? 🙂
It might be that but whatever it would be with agreat deal of letters and delivered in a monotone - kimi Raikonnen like

Well duh, we obviously did. Just some boomers think they know everything, throw in their two pence and disregard anything else. Our owners and plight meant nothing to him.
