Squad is looking a bit threadbare at the moment.

In fairness, a few of the injured players are probably kept out of the squad as a precaution as opposed to being injured.

Generally, we’ve got a strong cohort of about 20 senior players. So we’re in a better place than most years. Realistically, we need to bump that up to 23-25 to deal with the rigours of the Championship campaign.

We’ll be adding at least 3 players before the window closes - CB, CM and ST as a minimum. The other needs can be addressed next window/summer.

Yes but Thomas is younger, taller, quicker and better on the ball.

Why would you consider taking any of your guaranteed starters all the way to Germany for 45/60 mins if they have knocks.

Leave them at home to get any treatment and hopefully be fit for the upcoming games.

The one thing that’s just jumped out at me is we can’t really afford to play Obikwu in the league if we’re going to loan him out, would mean we couldn’t send him elsewhere in January.

There was a period last season where he wasn't being picked, he went into MR office to have a word. Suddenly he was made captain for the game after, and featured pretty much wherever he could be used after that point, even when injured towards the end of the season.

It's only preseason so it doesn't really matter, but I do disagree about Latibeaudiere. He was responsible for a lot of goals last season, and an obvious weak link. Thomas is streets ahead.

Again, where did I say that he’s a better player than Thomas? I think Thomas should start. All I’m saying is Lati ain’t as bad as some of you are making out
