Shame we still wont get to see Da Costa. I wonder if we will get more of an idea about formation this time round, although with no Da Costa or Dabo I doubt it.

Are people expecting us to change formation? We went on a brilliant run, which won us the league using the box midfield, and I've seen nothing from any of the new signings to suggest it will be any different to start this season.

Hamer and Giles will simply replace Walsh and McCallum.

I think we will alternate now we have wingers back (Jones, Jobello, Hilssner and potentially kastaneer)

I dont think last years formation will be sufficient all the time for the championship due to the pace.

Agreed but none of those four fill me with much confidence . Let’s stick to a tried and trusted formation until plan b ,c or d is needed

By the looks of it the 23s have started their own prep now but the ones who have stayed with the first team are: Thompson, Drysdale, Williams, Burroughs, Eccles, Bapaga

Shame another non specialist at rwb again

Wingbacks are integral position for how we play

We need a fit one for when season starts!

Expect the main lads to be getting a good hour today

We should be fully in control of this game today expect Hamer to run the game

If Fadz is back I’d like to see Pask over at RWB I think, did well there when needed last season.

If Fadz isn't fit, Pask one half RWB, one CB.

Drysdale or Williams can take over CB, Burroughs (or maybe Rowe) RWB.

First half/60 mins:

Marosi
Drysdale McFadz Hyam
Pask Kelly Hamer Giles
Allen O’Hare
Godden

Second:

Wilson
Pask Drysdale Williams
Rowe Eccles Shipley Mason
Jones Hilßner
Baka

Bit of a case of sacrificing Shipley second half but want to see Jones and Hilßner in our normal formation. Sub Thompson on for Pask at some point.
