Taxi cancelled for Robins (1 Viewer)

Well I mean with an educated guess we can estimate the likely additional income we'll get next season with fans in versus this season with nobody. Pretty sure our first Ricoh game will be on the telly anyway so chuck another £100k in!
Oh shit, it's gonna be a Friday night game isn't it.

But missing our two best strikers for long periods, so then going with one up top has made sense.

Walker has made 17 starts according to Soccerbase. Unless that's wrong of course.
But was inexplicably on the bench, when we played one up front, iirc

Considering we have gone up a division we have been without our number 1 goalkeeper without our number 1 centre back without our right back without Kelly without Godden and Walker relying on an injured max up front playing all our games away from home no fans in the ground Jones being injured Shipley and Baka not being championship standard and we are 9 points above the relegation zone with 4 games left I would have to say Robins is a fucking miracle worker

He’s not a miracle worker, he’s a very naughty boy.

You forgot the fact that we missed out on Kenny Jackett

I Didn't want the taxi for Robins at all he deserved this season even if we were relegated I would want him in charge in league one we need to slowly build the club all the chopping and changing of managers down through the years sent us backwards not forwards

Fans forget that, it was going to be tough enough with our best players available but we were without last seasons five best players for weeks plus three of our new signings due to injury and illness. We have been above the relegation zone all season but for a week that’s some achievement in my opinion.
Robins now has most of his top players back for a few games now tweaked how we play a little and we look good now, that’s good management imo.

I’ve criticised Robins loads of times this season and since he’s been here.

Negative thinking with only 1 up top too many times.

Seems to take ages to make substitutions in order to change things in games.

Frustrating ? Yes.

Taxi for Robins? Not a chance, he is the man to get us promoted into the Premier League.

We just have to keep the faith, keep a steady ship and remember it’s a long term project.

We should stand out from the crowd and have a long term Manager, stand by him in good times and bad, it worked for Fergie!!

He should just be told to walk home

He’s out of ideas and we are sliding fast. He’s not good enough at this level and he’s also like most managers stubborn and one dimensional

That performance was inexcusable - his January transfers are shite and his stubborn refusal to acknowledge even bakayoko is better than biamou and to change shape and formation will set us back

Thanks For the memories and all that but Boddy needs to act now

This might be the worst post on any forum ever.

Robins has proved each season that one of his strengths is his ability to reshape the team and the style of play as we go. Big achievement to do so this season with the lack of training time.

Don’t know about that naming Kenny Jackett as Robins’ successor runs it pretty close
I think it’s the consistency season on season, leading the calls for him to go when we’ve kicked on as a team each season, two promotions, two successful Wembley finals (Okay, Robins only got us to one put he still picked up the silverware) and surviving in style first season in the championship. That’s what’s moronic. At least give the bloke the opportunity to fail before you even consider him a failure. There’s not a season that Robins has started as manager when the usual nutters start calling for him to go.

This thread was a knee jerk reaction to a defeat. Still absurd though as the OP didn’t consider the bigger picture and had no idea who would be a suitable replacement

Definitely wasn’t a knee jerk, it’s the third thread they’ve started re sacking MR.

Plus it’s been their narrative since pretty early on in the season, most posts there was an underlying dig at MR.

I appreciate the OP is playing a character (at least I hope so), but too many people jumped on the bandwagon.

And thankfully have been proved wrong, and in some cases have admitted that, which is good to see.

I hope you are making this in the hope of being wrong again as it always comes back to bite you 😉

As always breathtakingly moronic and totally unhelpful at the very time that the team and manager needed our full support.

The best part: 'his January transfers are shite.' Even compared to your usual nonsense that really is something very special.

G just doesn’t rate Robins and pretty much never has. Despite being melancholy at times the most I’ve said is if we went down this year he should walk, after the Wycombe game. I wasn’t heavily hinting he should go after 10 games

I think it's unfortunately beyond any doubt that unfortunately the OP is not playing a character - given the idiocy and nonsense we hear from that Fool season after season.

We seriously do have a 'fan' in our midst who wants to get Robins fired, is clearly disappointed when we win as it goes against his agenda and absolutely wants certain players to fail whilst wearing the shirt. It's crazy.

Not exactly true is it though Fatso - many have consistently been calling him out on his nonsense right for years?
Well he is an easy target tbf.
Just a lot of wize people on here all of a sudden, didnt hear a peep out of them after the QPR game funnily enough 😉

It would end right away if he admitted a mistake at any point, but his own view is he is always right
Very true, but PVA isn't the only one being wize on here after game 43.
Our season was saved by 3 wins in 8 days,
Had that shot that hit the post and bounced out at Rovrum gone in, who knows where we might be now. As it was it didnt and we are safe. If we were in the bottom 3 now, this place would be in melt down.

Small margins! 😉
