Amazing all round.

Not going to go down to your pathetic narcissistic inspired level - life is too short.

Let’s be honest it’s the only way biamou will stand a chance off scoring all season

To those who aren't on Twitter, this thread is what you're missing
This thread was a joke until people started putting words into my mouth 😂, not once have a said Godden is worst than biamou not once have I said he doesn't work hard not once have I said he isn't out best striker but apparently I've said all of the above, just give up let Grendal and his little c**t patrol go on.

Im not trying again as I’m pointing out your outrage is limited to one player when he gets negatives

Thjs thread shares my opinion more than yours loser

do you want me to do a Fund Me page and get you a Biamou blow up doll - I bet even the thought of it has required an underwear change
This fucking site 🤣🤣

A target man only works when we’re constantly sending in crosses. Today’s game is more like chess with no real wingers and teams wanting to walk the ball into the net. I miss the excitement of seeing a full back skinned and a cross from the byline giving a much better angle for the target head. If Neil Martin, Colin Stein or Mick Ferguson we’re in today’s team they would be as isolated as Godden.

Don’t you think any of the above would have scored from 3 feet against Watford?

Doesn't have to be crosses. The modern target man can just be about managing to hold-up the ball and make it 'stick' further up the field before bringing others into play.

Allows deeper midfielders to advance further up the field too, knowing you have forwards who aren't immediately going to lose possession.

Not every time. They had a lot more goal chances per game then Max does.
Not saying he’s even close to the skill level of those three but that chance wasn’t nearly as easy as many seem to think. Have you ever played in that position? I have.
There’s three real And separate parts to a move like that.
1. Actually getting your head to the ball while fighting of one or more defenders. Check.
2. Getting the header on target while still under challenge from defender(s). Check
3. Finding on target space out of the keeper’s reach.

Max is very good at the first, not bad at the second but has struggled with the third.

MR selects him for a reason no matter how far down the pecking order he is and we as fans should be supporting him.
I challenge you to throw out a positive post (no matter how minor) when he does get that elusive goal.

Sorry but any championship level striker at minimum gets that header on target.

And this is why we've been playing so well, with Hamer pushing alot jogger up the pitch while sheaf holds his position.

Akinfemwa missed the same chance pretty much against Watford the week before. Also seen many players higher up the leagues muss easier chances.
As I said any championship standard striker. He has missed at least 3 gilt edged chances in 2 games. Defend him all you like but he isnt at this level.

How on earth can you complain about abuse of players, and then in the very same topic, start throwing personal abuse about against a forum member, who you've never even met?
Honestly, it's getting surreal on here.

I see your point actually Fatso so will think about that.
Just for some balance though; you should read some of the comments that Grendel has written about me previously if you believe my post was abusive.
My comment about his narcissism was based on the content of his 100,000+ posts to date on this site (perhaps an exaggeration but you see my point) vs. random abuse. It's why he has been blocked by so many posters on here.
What is interesting is that those who throw abuse at the team and single out individuals are also the first to be offended if they get challenged back in any way.

Maybe there's just too much abuse period.

The thing is, abuse of a footballer for their footballing ability (or lack of it) isn't exactly personal abuse, it's more professional abuse (dont know if that's any better) and the people giving it (the fans) are arguably, partly responsible for the players wages , hence they feel justified in voicing their displeasure.

I'd also remind you that most of the abuse is posted when fans are feeling at their most emotional, ie, just after a bad result. If you had to wait 24 hours after a game before posting, then most, (but by no means all) of the abuse wouldn't be posted.

Either way I'm sure the players dont give a fuck what any of us on here post.

Agreement in parts Fatso - certainly too much abuse flying around and will reflect on my own part in that!

Players do read this - and as human beings - it does have an effect if there is constant derision as seen in this thread for example. Balanced and fair criticism is one thing, constant derision and abuse of our own players for me goes way over the line.

The online comments pre-season on JJ (not on SBT) certainly caused damage.

I get particularly worked up when certain players are singled out for individual errors and then immediately written off - all players make mistakes but some on here have an agenda against certain players and jump on those mistakes to try and prove that agenda. I think that's damaging and in most cases unfair.

As you say it's an emotional game and there are many opinions out there. But being on SBT after a defeat is increasingly painful reading for me as it seems that the reactions are becoming ever more hysterical. Again just my view.

Biamou's tame header straight at the keeper is his only shot on target so far this season.
His Shot Accuracy is 12%

Yes but a very mischievous joke. Against several season backdrop where Coventry fans like to sacrifice a few young lambs....kick the arse out of young players confidence. Undermine the manager who is doing a good job.

Can we start a ... Taxi for clueless snowflake one eyed fans?

FFS just support the squad in their efforts.

I meant northing by it 😂, I don't right anybody off until they've had a good few months, like everyone was hating in sheaf I was just telling people to give it time now he looks like a right steal.

Its not just new players though. We have to support players like Shipley and Biamou make the step up. Because right now those are the resources we have. But certain fans seems to want them to fail so then can drag a post out from 2 years ago and say "I called that".

Fans are entitled to opinions and have a right to be critical. But some make it their weekly quest to criticise certain players and make them accountable for things they are not.

I 100% agree with all of this Hobo but I think Kieran is the wrong target; he was actually highlighting the absurdity of others in calling for taxis for players and managers.

Because I call you out for running vendettas against players who need our support?

And by the way I guarantee you wouldn't say that to my face - tough guy as always behind a keyboard eh?

Actually I would - you even make ccfcway interesting and given I give support to most players and you ignore the abuse aimed at most players shows you have a vendetta against me - not that I care

Actually I would - you even make ccfcway interesting and given I give support to most players (.......absolutely ridiculous - best joke I've heard in years though).......

and you ignore the abuse aimed at most players (.....again absolutely untrue)

shows you have a vendetta against me (......I have a problem with you as you constantly deride and target our players) -

not that I care (.....you just told me to fuck off so I guess you must care a little bit).

Four mis-statements in 2 lines is typical but pretty epic even by your high standards.
