Or they know nothing else , accept failure and of course reap their own reward of ubiquitous glory
Or they just support no matter what league we play in our what competition. That's probably more like the it.

All them owners since the seventies, yet only one owner took us down two divisions in a decade. Maybe some of our supporters just blindly accept the failures, most don't...
How is going to support your team blindly accepting anything or making them a mug? Out of interest.

I'd say whinging about things not being like 40 years ago is a lot less productive. It must be horrible going outside and seeing different things.

I applaud anyone and everyone that supports the club in their heart , this is the problem in esscence in that those same souls that make the effort today in bad weather to see a side devoid of any respect to the fans who went. Everyone now accepts that shite and will move on ermmm , it has happened far to often this season , the club and city of Coventry are far bigger than dying in a ditch like we are . There needs to be true people involved in this club and run it properly

Obviously not, because people would rather sit about whinging it's not like the 70s or finding anything possible to get angry about rather than getting behind the club (not sisu, the club).

Yes today it was dog shit, but compare it to the fight a couple of weeks ago against Lincoln and it's completely different.

Nobody has said it wouldn't be great if we got a rich prince or a serious City fan in. I very much doubt anybody going to games now would suddenly stop based on that.

Also it cannot be spun any other way, operation premiership actually meant a bunch of tax avoiding pricks with an ill thought out plan involved themselves and screwed a club

Accepting where we are is accepting what SISU have done like it's been nothing, hard to agree with that isn't it?
No, accepting we are in league 2 is just dealing with reality. Otherwise you end up having a meltdown every week when you see fixtures. You end up comparing to 40 years ago as well as an example.

Coming to terms with us being in league 2 is hardly the same as skipping to every game telling everybody sisu are amazing.

They shouldn't have moved us from HR in fairness, maybe not thrown money down the drain the club didn't have.

The reality is we're in league two because of how our owners have treated the club. What's hard to comprehend about it?, they have overseen us get relegated twice...

No other owners in the past 60+ years have achieved such a feat.

We have been badly let down by owners and as result we are in the lowest division. When you are down there your players are 4th tier too. We cannot compete skill wise with players who were in the top flight. What I couldn’t accept then and what I can’t accept now is when players don’t give (or appear not to give) 100%.

So what point are you trying to make if people have come to terms with us being in league 2? You went and bought season tickets knowing we are in league 2 so surely you are just as much in the sisu fan club.

I don’t believe any owners of any club have managed to remain in post whilst under their stewardship navigated a club downwards in such a fashion. It should be made illegal on the grounds of gross misconduct and the RICOH fiasco just about sums it all up

We all accept being in this league because we have no other choice. What we don't or shouldn't accept is why we are here.
Make up your mind, you said a minute ago we shouldn't accept where we are. Now we do because there's no other choice?

Oh and the result of the management is why the average attendance now you could not even fill the top tier of the west stand at highfield road at any given point , I remember in the late 1999 seeing a fake Cov Sabaru away top on white in Dubal on sale alongside Manu Liverpool and Arsenal tops, meaning in the not so distant past we were someone , now we are nothing , Who is to blame ?

You can remember 1999 and the 70's but you can't remember who did Operation Premiership?

Of course, League 2 is utterly dog shit. I don't think any fan wouldn't want to be way higher up in a packed out stadium every week over it. Again though, accepting that the reality is we are in League 2 and the club (not SISU) needs it's fans more than ever, not putting on the act of not knowing we are in League 2 when seeing the opposition as if it's a massive surprise every week etc is a million ways thinking the situation is great.

Not long ago you were referring to people as mugs, make up your mind.

We have no fucking choice to accept we're in League Two, we don't have to accept why we are though. Why do you always look for an argument like a c**t?

Look for an argument or point out you contradict yourself?

We all accept being in this league because we have no other choice.

I doubt anybody accepts we are in league 2 for any other reason than we have no choice.

I'd say you and others calling people mugs because they support their team are the ones looking for an argument.

I guess the demise of the club means less people on the forum perhaps ? Less potential for click bait adverts , half the people who were here years ago are still here , maybe he don’t give a shite anymore as he is not making the money he did , just sayin !

I don't give a shite about calling a spade a spade as I haven't since the start maybe? It's nothing to do with how many people are or aren't on here.

I'm not sure how people can come on here and call people mugs because they support their club and then try and have any digs about others "looking for arguments". Not really too sure what you expect on a fan's forum?

There is no clickbait on here, I could quite easily go all out on clickbait if I wanted to. Anybody who comes on here other than when we have lost a game will see that anything clickbaitey gets edited so it isn't.

Yet I've not even called anyone a mug, but just for you, you're as mug. A proper mug who spends way too much time on a forum looking for arguments considering you have a wife and family. That's why I brought a season ticket, so I can spend more time with them...

Put me on SISU's number 1 card list.

I clearly meant the other person who was calling people mugs in this thread... The 2 who are going on about looking for an argument.

I might be missing something, but you are logged onto a forum and your first post of the day on here was:

Just when you thought some of our fans couldn't get any dumber, Grendel crops up with that bullshit...

Give your head a wobble you dense muppet.

Again, at least try and get a bit of consistency and stop contradicting yourself. That post could well be seen as looking for an argument.

Nice one.

How is that contracting myself when it's the truth? he's a muppet who consistently gets proven wrong.
We can play this game all night mate, but I'm not the one looking like a twat calling for the managers head. I'm calling for the owners head and soon as I did, you crop up, no coincidence either.

It isn't about what you said or who you said it to. It's about the "looking for an argument" line you try to pull to me? Hence contradicting because you did exactly that by logging in looking for an argument. The same as you contradicted yourself by saying about people accepting it accepting SISU etc to then go on to say that we accept it because we have no choice afterwards.

What do you mean crop up? I've been posting from just before the match to just after. I also posted on this thread before you?

I also haven't called for the manager's head, I said we need to give him a chance to sort it out and address it.

This is the time in the season where MR earns his buck. He has a top 6 budget. Its his team, i believe SISU have backed him big time this season more than i thought they would.
I believe the next few games we will see if he has the dresing room. As i think hes given the players a rocket,

Bur todays performance was unacceptable.
We made them look like the top 6 team.
Tactics if there was any was atrocious, everybody could see three strikers didnt work. Completely overun in midfield.

2 wins in 10 league matches is unacceptable.

I for the first time this season boo'd the players off along with many others.

It was teuky atrocious, they wanted it so much more, they looked stronger sharper, more technically gifted and more of team.

Truly shell shocked. Add insult to injury this away day has cost me £200 plus!

MR should have come come to the fans to clap tyem off, instead he did a token gesture lil clap from hakway line.

Reallt not good enough for the best supported club in this league bar none away from home.

I don't think it's a case of him being backed, it's more that our revenue / income is more suited to be more competitive in League 2.

Saying that, he doesn't have the old "hands tied behind his back" excuse that usually comes out. We have already seen other teams say we blew them away or took players they wanted and we have been comprehensively beaten by teams who will have lower wage budgets.
