A realistic team that SP may pick, ie I will include fleck & Webster as there is no way SP will drop his scottish buddies but I would personally take a day off work and drive them both back to Scotland.
442 formation
Gk alsopp
RB Pennington - sounds like he was awful yesterday but impressed me the times I have seen him
CB Martin & Webster - hate Webster with a passion
LB - Haynes need a performance from him
RM JOB
CM Fleck & Thomas - only because the other 2 are banned, Finch is out of his depth offers nothing, fleck is the new David Bell - possibly the worst accolade
LM Swanson - need creativity he looks lively but possibly too lightweight for this league
Strikers Madine & Jackson A bit of pace and muscle

I want to see some purpose from the team selection. Madine, Nouble and Jackson starting. Wouldnt mind seeing Thomas back. Hes been no worse than the other clowns in midfield. Bell was always injured. Fleck is the new Stephen Hughes. Plays every week and plays crap every week. His best season ever would be to score 2 goals.

Think it depends on who is available, sure some will call in sick until NY or need time off cause their tired. Dont want Swanson in, has the ability but cant be arsed. Im gona bring my boots tomorrow cant be any worse than yesterday.

I'd go with that, didnt see Pennington yesterday though to judge. Is Phillips still injured?

I am not sure whether Willis would do a better job on Doyle?

With players we have available, that side kind of picks its self, so agree with this selection

Unless you are our manager, in which case it means we need to play Thomas on the wing, Swanson centre mid, Jackson right wing and JOB up front...

We are desperate for a win but can you really play madine and nouble together, its clear Nouble is going back to Ipswich would you trust him to put a shift in tomorrow.
Jack Finch is big but needs to be able to contribute more offensively pick a pass make runs into the box shoot etc... - don't think he is ready for that

Do nt get this lets pick on Fleck this season. Without Fleck there is no creativity at all in the team. Its hardly his fault that when he looks for a pass forward theres no one there as an outlet. He looks for attacking passes, yes he actually looks up with the ball, but is forced sideways or back. It seems that the one or two times he loses the ball or misplaces a pass he is suddenly awful.
Sign him up on a new contract asap.

I'd go something like
-----------Allsop
Pennington--Webster--Martin--Haynes
Swanson---JOB---Barton----Maddison
-----------Nouble--Madine

I think in Swanson, Nouble and Maddison you get our three most creative players on the pitch, players who can make something happen which Pressley has been banging on about. I think JOB lacks creativity and invention but he has great energy and work rate and could be a genuine box to box midfielder using his energy to get up and down the pitch. Then a straight pick between Fleck and Barton, maybe even Thomas.

You can fiddle with the attacking 4 to get the best blend, maybe playing Maddison/Swason just behind Madine and shifting Nouble out wider but I think its a good starting place which addresses the midfield problems we've been having this season, whether trying to address that will just bring up more problems who knows.

Allsop

Pennington
Haynes
Martin
Willis (drop the international)

O'Brien
Fleck
Thomas
Swanson

Jackson
Madine

Job done. If he persists with the one up top bollocks our season will end in disaster.

Flecks been poor all season and for the majority of 2014. He creates very little, scores very little and continually slows the game down, and just lately seems to give the ball away at will (not 1 or 2 times like you suggest), he rarely looks for an attacking pass, it's usually 5 yards back or sideways. Barton passes forward more than him, add to that like barton he wants to play very deep as it's the only place he gets time. He's been poor and shouldn't be immune to criticism or being dropped.

And what is his actual best position? He likes to play deep but isn't a defensive midfielder, he's also not an orthodox centre mid, he's also not an attacking mid and he's also not a wide man.

If if he not commuted then would start SJ instead.
Regarding JF he is purely there to win the ball. If CT is fit I would start him

Fleck is the new David Bell, skillful but with no pace, loved and hated by fans in equal measure, remembered for individual bits of brilliance rather than the consistancy of their performances, always too deep, played nice passes in our own half rather than getting into the final third, for midfielders hardly ever score Bell got 6 in 98, Fleck has 4 in 92. Bell want Notts County than Kings Lynn after leaving us, Fleck wouldn't get in a championship side. he will leave us at the end of the season please prove me wrong but he is an ineffective player who has not lived up to his reputation.

I play two number 10's in Nouble and Jackson tomorrow in support of Madine.
Play Haynes and Pennigton as wing backs and in midfield alongside O'Brien, I'd have Thomas and whoever else wants it most after being given a bollicking!
We are at home against Chesterfield for Christ sake. If he played that team I might change my mind and go up!

Yep Wingy, have to agree - (15/8 for Chesterfield win - we're about 6/5 favourites . I think the odds should be the other way round - hope we're both wrong)

It is the other way round .... We are 2-1 at bet 365 Chesterfield are 8-5 .. Personally I will have £30 on us to win ,I think that's a huge price although I might have a saver on Doyle to score first for them
