True, but we could do with at least trying to sell some season tickets.

But who to?

The probability they've at minimum halved future uptake ,potentially offers them half the time required to pass them on ,maybe at these upcoming forums??

There is obviously no shortage of money ,players salaries are continuing to be funded ,Mr Appleton has had no assets to sell to cover a company without any apparent costs .:thinking about:

Yes you are right. We are not in administration. It's getting very worrying I think.

Do you see that the ruse is self perpetuating .
The emotional threat that has run for over an entire season necessitates that they really only require a mere stadium capable of holding 5-6K. They simply must and have to move.:thinking about:

Is this where we are;

ACL and League thinks the Club is in administration.

SISU and Appleton think otherwise??

Is the actual Football Club in Administration - evidence is that it is not - Holdings are still paying the wages etc and carrying on near normal business, although can't release season tickets for next season as we have no agreement to play anywhere.

When will ACL understand that they should be meeting the Club and vice versa.

It appears that SISU will not be bullied out, in fairness to them they have put large amounts of money into the Club. (And still the most hated Club Owners ).

Holdings have no external debts - not even a mortgage on Ryton, so almost impossible to be forced into administration.

Hopefully Appleton can mediate between the two parties for the benefit of the Supporters.

Company in administration has no assets in terms of money - so where is Appleton going to obtain his fees from?? Maybe why he's not active and always on holiday etc.

why do ACL have to rely on a Lawyer - are they that incompetent. (probably after the balloon episode). Must also be flush with money to pay his fees.
I suspect already the money spent on legal fees has already exceeded the actual rent debt.

It's unfortunate, but SISU cannot be trusted. There is an impasse (created over several years). The posts on this board are often conjecture but by now most of us would agree that if two adversaries can't work together then lawyers will get involved. Remembering also that SISU play dirty and withheld rent (They took it on when they purchased the business),therefore pay it or get out.

What exactly is playing dirty about not paying rent? It's a valid move and ACL were in their rights to refuse entry the second we owed them money.

Why didn't they?

Because ACL want to be a successful business and having a viable club using the ground (which it was built for) helps them to achieve, and they were talking to the owners to try and reach an agreement that would assist both sides. SISU however wanted to weaken ACL and get the asset on the cheap? Not sure that is is correct but it's how it looks to me from the outside.

Howdoes using lawyers mean ACL are incompetent? Would you call someone incompetent for using an architect to drsign a buildin you want to construct ? Are businesses incompetent for using accountants to sort out payroll ? Of course not, and it's idiotic to say otherwise! You use the right tools for the right job.

How is not paying rent a valid move? Sisu have a LEGALLY BINDING CONTRACT to pay the rent!

It staggers me how people use acts designed that only help the club as an attack against them. How is allowing Sky Blues to fulfill their matches even though it was financially damaging a bad thing? Surely it shows the only consideration for ACL is the ultimate welfare of the club!

Is this the depths the sisu plants are stooping to now? ACL gave sisu every opportunity to do what is right. They COULD have called time on them a year ago, but this was absolutely a LAST RESORT. If anything ACL should be commended for their patience (as city fans).

Absolutely no question ACL have the welfare of the club at heart. It is the greatest of ironies that the people who own the clubs are trying to destabilise it and put its future in risk, whilst ACL did everything they could to prevent this!

ACL haven't been prefect no one is, but their actions have at least tried to be beneficial to the club. As they themselves said, the ONLY reason they applied for admin, was because the owners were threatening liquidation!

I believe some so-called fans need to realise sisu ARE NOT THE CLUB - THEY MERELY OWN THE NAMING RIGHTS!
