As a matter of interest is it possible to put turf down and be performing here in less than 2 weeks ?
Surely the first tackle and you'll be wearing a square yard of turf ?
I wouldn't have though so myself, if they had started straight after the Walsall match then maybe. But who knows with modern technology.

Had a new lawn turfed a few years ago and was told to keep off it for 3 weeks and that was in the middle of May and not a cold December with short daylight hours. It does seem incredible but I guess they have done their homework and been given advice and guarantees. Hope it won't mean going back to 3-5-2.

Dont forget it is half plastic I would also have thought that they come in bigger sections so that there are fewer seems to buff up.

Bit like a carpet.

I know a good carpet fitter should they need one.

If we can get some furniture around the edges and corners it should hold it down a bit - anybody got a spare sideboard kicking around?

I'm going to guess that the landlord will insist that everyone going on the new pitch wears slippers, and I hope Tim's not expecting the damage deposit back once the rental agreement is up. ;)

I remember a few seasons back Birmingham changed their pitch and wasn't ready in time for their next home match. Looks much better with no grass lol

Don't think this is the plastic one, that comes next season. I think this is just your normal bents and fescues mixed with a bit of rye grass.
