Well he's just left his post at Wolves...so obviously a candidate. Despite his dreadful spell last season, the man has a wealth of experience and I wouldn't be that upset if we gave him a chance. Seems like a man who has integrity and I like that.

As a manager he's got a wealth of experience in losing football games......I think there are 100 better qualified people that may be interested in the job and I'm sure some of them will have integrity too.

Just like Richard Shaw he may one day make a good manager but I think our current situation demands a character that isn't learning as he goes along. I don't think Terry Connor has won a league game as a manager so I personally don't think he's quite ready for the almost impossible job that awaits whoever takes us over.

I'm good at football manager I might apply to save the day

Since i was about 7 iv never had a trophyless season on fifa and iv won multiple cups and titles and world cups on FM over the years. Ideal candidate.

in all seriosness though, i had an idea that we should raffle off tickets and the prize is be the manager for a game..... think about it, it gets us money from sales of tickets, doesnt cost us in wages, and it could by fluke work and we win every game. problem solved:whistle:

Wolves' equivalent of Thorn-vastly out of his depth in management and shouldn't be touched with a bargepole.

Don't think he did, and he looked like a rabbit in the headlights. You could almost see the beads of sweat trickling down his forehead, even before kick off.

very true He looked a sad figure, I actually felt sorry for him

I would be really happy with Mark Robins as our manager.
Did well at Rotherham and guided Barnsley to there highest finish in the championship, after coming back into that league.

Has got the lower league experience as well as in the championship.
No compensation needed as he is not with any club currently.

Ah the days of signing players that had just played in a world cup.

Now im just grateful if I've heard of them

You say that but i remember a few signings back in the day which were questionable! But he would have been a great addition if we had signed him!

I can't even begin to describe how gutted I would feel if Terry Connor was appointed our new manager. I'm sure he is a nice bloke and all that but his record at Wolves was abysmal (no wins in 13 games) - probably the worst record of any manager in the entire Football League last season. He showed absolutely nothing to suggest he is capable of being an effective manager. In his post-match interviews he always sounded as if he was in tears. I would rather have any of our living former managers (Peter Reid, Terry Butcher, Phil Neale and Don Howe included!) back at the club than Connor. I'd rather Tim Fisher appointed himself as manager - at least Fisher sounds dynamic and forthright when being interviewed. I think the only person I'd rather not have as manager is Ken Dulieu - he is that bad.
Please God, no not Terry Connor as our new manager, surely!
