Be honest, who today is absolutely buzzing and can't wait for tonight ? I can't seem to get on with any work, I keep finding myself day dreaming thinking of what if I actually will get to see us walk out at Wembley in my lifetime !? Very few times over the last few years have I had this sort of a buzz before a game

Buzzing here, I am 28 years old and had a season ticket since I was 8 years old.

I honestly couldn't care less if we lost in the final to be honest, for the last 20 years I have been hoping and praying to experience a day out at Wembley.

Please city a nice 2 or 3 nil win tonight to get the party rocking. Does anyone know when the tickets for the final go on sale IF we get there?

First home game for five weeks, so looking forward to it.
Deep down I know we will get let down but that little bit of hope that it will be a skyblue day
Don`t you just love it
All I know is that three years ago I was gutted when we lost against Crewe but tonight I wont really care as much.

I'll be buzzing if we get the day out at Wembley. But as for today, not excited at all. Got my ticket but won't be going. Unfortunately it's just not there for me anymore. I'm actually more excited about a potential piss up around London than the actual game.

To be honest even last season early on when we were top of the league and I had a season ticket I still didn't go.

I'm buzzing. First game I've been to in a few months and i'll be in the pub having birthday pints in about an hour an half. I literally cannot concentrate at work which is why I've been on here half the day!

I remember being absolutly buzzing pre Crewe area final, this time I'm less enthused than a normal match. The last 5 games have done me in and went we went one down on Saturday after the protest I just slumped in my chair and never moved till the final whistle

I'm bang up for it.

I was going to use the word buzzing in another thread but refrained as I don't like buzzing or things that buzz (and no Otis, I'm not talking about Mrs WMs 'toy' collection....)!

I'm usually an optimistic fella but i cant see anything but a defeat.

Team confidence is shot, we don't score goals and we are soft at the back.

... but apart from that C'MON CITY!!!!!

DITTO!! but I will be behind the sofa peeking out occasionally hoping upon hope that the ref is really a Sky Blue fan! Wouldn't it be great to have a couple of dodgy decisions go in our favour for once. I know we are crap but really do feel we are owed a few!! PUSB

No I don't look forward to it anymore myself. Not at the moment but it could change dependent on a good team some results and obviously a change of ownership. I just don't get any joy watching my beloved team get thumped every week like I use to.

Not me, not going, not watching on TV. Waste of time and energy.

Very little buzz from me.
It just does not feel like my club and against backdrop of likely relegation to level 4 , hardly seems relevent or cause to celebrate IF we win.

Should we win , how will people really feel who were there in 87? Its hard to take.

Ive counted my home games since April 2012. Amazed it was only two. OK lived overseas for quite a portion of that and refused to go to Northampton. However been back in UK since late August and still not travelled to Ricoh.

I've been a passionate Sky Blues supporter since about 1968. Anyone who knows me would be amazed by me not going anymore. Just shows what SISU have caused.

SISU OUT and good luck tonight.

If you feel like that, why post on here? I ask this with respect, I don't understand how you can have a ticket but not go, but then post on here regularly, which indicates an interest.

How about thinking of your fellow fans, supporters who have never seen success (I've been lucky enough to see 60's success and the '87 final) and deserve some joy. Also, a win tonight could positively affect our league performances.

I still have an interest enough to check results and post on here etc.
I bought a season ticket last season planning on going up with my dad but he had illness issues so couldn't go and nobody I used to go up with was arsed anymore. There's a load of other reasons I won't go into on here.

And I'm sure I'll be back up again when all of this has blown over. I've just got no interest in going to games at the moment. Hopefully that will return. In the meantime I'll continue posting bollocks on here to pass the time at work.

Well it is entertaining bollocks - and I look forward to hearing that you're back supporting the team at the games!

spot on, tonight wasn't about those of us who have been supporting for 40/50 years, it was for the supporters who've been going for 5/10 years and have had fuck all but misery. No one deserves a good day out more.

bit like your posts.

I get the not going. Even get the maybe it is not that an important game.

I don't get the not even watching it on TV.

It's our club. Our club on TV. Wouldn't you always want us to win? Always want to see how we play? Want to root for your team?

Even if it was a friendly and it was on TV I would be watching.

If you had been there you would have been swept away by the atmosphere. It was electric. It was also a memorable night, with many fans in floods of tears of joy and everyone walking around with big smiles and smug grins on their faces. Who wouldn't want to be part of that and be part of that for your team?

I don't get it. I get that some may think it wasn't that important (but then some league games aren't that important, or haven't been in the past if we are in the middle of nowhere and can't go up or down), but surely the lure of watching your team on TV with the whole crowd buzzing is a lure so enticing you would want to be part of it, to savour it and enjoy the moment.

We also bloody won and I maintained throughout that we DID have a very good chance of winning.

What more do we want at the end of the day past seeing our beloved team out there and winning games?
