The worst part is this incident appeared to happen when it was within the ref's field of view. But I'm not going to complain too much as I felt the ref was okay overall and we have ourselves to blame for lacking a killer instinct in the final third. At times in the first half I was thinking that it was a matter of time before the dam broke, but it never came. No clear cut chances in the second half. Very disappointing.

Birmingham fans seem furious about the ref. He didn't get a decision right for us either.

Ours should of been a penalty no question. That said I think we were lucky second half as there's looked one as well. I wasn't overly impressed with the ref. Far too busy and kept slowing the game down which was slow anyway due to Brums shithousery. How he never booked their keeper for time wasting I don't know.

Looks a clear pen from the photos but I didn’t notice it at the time, and by the reaction, or lack thereof from the fans, I don’t think many did spot it.

Did you leave before the end?

Have to say he didn’t look a bad player but how did he stay on for the Gyo challenge ?

I’m pretty sure they had another defender on the cover, otherwise it would have been a straight red. I thought he was pretty decent and wouldn’t mind him here, Wolves have high hopes for him.

Not saying this with my sky blue glasses on. Watched the match back. Absolute nailed on penalty for us; their pen call, no way, he dived and minimal contact. Red card, all day long. For Bowyer to say it was a professional foul that happens every week shows what a neanderthal he is. Woods was nowhere near the ball and deliberately took him out by sliding in. If that is overturned on appeal, I will forgo booze for a week. Couple of incidents, the elbow by Sanderson in our area and the stamp by Woods on Hamer forcing him off were probably accidental, but when seen in the context of all their dreadful niggly approach to the match, I do wonder. We deserved to win but left our shooting boots at home, their goalie played really well and had no luck in their six yard box. The loose balls always seemed to fall to their defenders. Deeney hardly won a ball in the air all night and either he is over the hill, not up to speed after injury, or our defence were superb.

Deeney is an example of the problem in football, way over the hill and consequently will be way over paid I shudder to think how much, his main qualification seems to be being a Brummie. Will they ever learn.

Speaking to a lad from work, when he first arrived at Blues he gave it the big "I am" about how much better he was than everyone at Blues and how he'd took a huge pay cut to go there and they were lucky to have him. This pissed a few of their players off and caused a scrap in training in his first week.

He comes across as a right tit whenever he is on talkSPORT as well.

Never a dive, but not a pen. Hyam’s not stuck his leg out and Hogan’s kicked the back of Hyam’s leg. Ref got that spot on. I thought the red was unlucky at the time, but the more I’ve seen it the more I think he got that spot on too.

Something needs to be done in general about the jostling from corners. I think refs think its easier to let it go as it happens so often but surely a foul is a foul? Just takes a couple of brave refs to set the precedent
