We were absolutely shite.West Brom wasn’t brilliant. Wasn’t sure at the time if Hull were just better than us or we were bad.

Not the same thing of course, but I heard we were scouting Lawrence Shankland a few years ago and Michael Rose heard about it and played out of his skin at the time so we signed him instead. Look how that turned out!tbf, it sounds like we signed him after watching someone else and being impressed with him instead.
Which is a perfectly reasonable way to go of course.
Good job Japan didn't include him in the squad for Asia CupNot sure anyone would have seen him hit the vein of goalscoring either. Got zero league goals before this season (zero!) outside of Japan, but suddenly he's got a goal conversion rate nearly twice that of Wright's, and 2/3 better than Godden's!
Cheeky bid to Basel for Liam Millar
And there’s me thinking MR seen him win Squid games , what do I knowNah, just Robins' mate watching YouTube vids isn't it?
It’s vintage Robins - his ability to change the system mid-season and get results out of it is mesmerising.
Did the same to Leeds not long ago.Been discussed on another thread and doesnt sound feasible but I like him, ran us ragged up at their place

I was on about Hull but West Brom was bad too, crap ref or not.The referee gave West Brom everything that night
Bidwell coming back has made a big difference. He also did well for the 3 rd goal as he managed to put in decent cross as he was falling over.System change has helped. But personnel changes have been just as important. Collins has looked solid. Kitching has settled and had a good effect on Thomas. Bidwell - probably the biggest differential in defence and attack. In the early games we really missed Allen’s energy and running. And O’Hare adds some extra quality. Chicken and egg situation.
Genuine question - do any of your previous harsh judgements of our new players, the character assasinations or the accusations of disharmony in the camp still stand?
Looks like one of the best squads we've had since dropping out of the Prem to me, and at least from the outside it seems like there's real togetherness.
Is this the old guard not being happy with the new signings? Because if that’s the case I think there’s potentially only 1/2 that would really hurt us to lose…The disharmony still stands from then yes
Of course its changed now, but I have no reason to doubt what I was told at that time as I've shown a few times on here now
Could be reactionary based on an old squad being replaced by the new oñe?The disharmony still stands from then yes

Look at yourself in the mirror and call yourself a c**t. The days of you making lucky guesses is over, son.The disharmony still stands from then yes

Well just take Robins’ interview after Cardiff, there were definitely some issues along those lines.Could be reactionary based on an old squad being replaced by the new oñe?
You on the beers again? Asking for a friend.Look at yourself in the mirror and call yourself a c**t. The days of you making lucky guesses is over, son.
Nope. Just causing disharmony for my own amusement. Saddle was a better poster before he became all arrogant and obnoxious. Ok, I've had a few tins and some baileys, but I'm only doing friendly jokes. You on the beers again? Asking for a friend.
