We all heard it. And then, 30 seconds later they were 1-0 down. The result today for me was absolute karma. I know there is banter in football but that was a step too far. Didn’t follow football in the Jimmy Hill era but I appreciate what he did for our club so felt that he deserved a post today.
long coach ride back to Sunderland…

They just have an entitlement mentality, for a team that's spent most of the last 60 years outside the top flight they think they've got a divine right to be there.Very quiet fans , il say if they vocally backed their team as well as they do in numbers there players might get their tail up more ..
Absolutely zero noise simply awful and their team play good football and deserve more
We might not get the numbers they do , but the players want to play for us and are loved here and they know it

I've seen some odd takes in relation to that, it's as if they created a lot of chances. They had one good chance. They had lots of the ball generally outside our penalty areaSunderland fans think they'd have won today if they had vik in their team ..
Strangely I think we'd have won most of our games with haaland in ours
The mics must be closer to the away fans because apparantly it was like that v millwall .. we were far louderI watched on TV. Appreciate you can only hear what comes through the mikes...
Our support was more constant (but didn't sound like last season levels).
Theirs when they made noise (which was very rare) was louder.
Apart from our two goals which were absolutely colossal roars.

CWR coverage is the best for ascertaining the crowd noiseI watched on TV. Appreciate you can only hear what comes through the mikes...

It is. Sat in block 2 today and barely heard them considering we are basically sat in their end.
We were thinking about it tooLooks decent over there. Thinking of maybe moving from block 16 next season.
That block is very un posh tbh , loads of singers corner lads that ended up there with a box tooThe posh seats giving it stacks to the away end today
Not helped by the Sky Sunderland Spunk fest. Apparently the commentator said we'd beaten the A team or something barmy? They just have an entitlement mentality, for a team that's spent most of the last 60 years outside the top flight they think they've got a divine right to be there.

Thought Sunderland were one of the better teams we've played at home this season.
Their number 10 on the right looked good first half
Great to see the camaraderie amongst the team in that celebration. Love how passionate McNally was too - let’s take it as a sign he is 100% signing in the summer.

But i thought they gave both teams equal due, and were very creditable to us at the end... "genuine playoff contenders" etc
Yeah definite dive in our box tooThat was Patrick Roberts. Quick, great with close ball control but as light as a feather when you go near him. Think he was hitting the deck any time a Cov shirt got within a few feet of him, trying to buy freekicks and a penalty.
What’s the context here?Scumderland...wankers the lot of em...fuck em,
Just really wish we wouldn't have morons mocking poor Bradley...other than that they are pure weasel wanks
A bit patronising to say ‘this is where big teams get brought down’. Sunderland have just spent 4 seasons in League 1
