We all heard it. And then, 30 seconds later they were 1-0 down. The result today for me was absolute karma. I know there is banter in football but that was a step too far. Didn’t follow football in the Jimmy Hill era but I appreciate what he did for our club so felt that he deserved a post today.

long coach ride back to Sunderland…

Only song they've sung the last 3x we've played them. An embarrassment.

Very quiet fans , il say if they vocally backed their team as well as they do in numbers there players might get their tail up more ..

Absolutely zero noise simply awful and their team play good football and deserve more

We might not get the numbers they do , but the players want to play for us and are loved here and they know it

Two brazen twats singing it down Foleshill Road after the game, surprised they didn’t get a kick in.

They just have an entitlement mentality, for a team that's spent most of the last 60 years outside the top flight they think they've got a divine right to be there.

Similar to Sheffield United. Best numbers home and away in the division but completely silent everywhere they go.

Compare that to the likes of Blackpool with small numbers but always noisy home and away.

To be fair the Blunderland fans were quite audible on the radio. I just reckon that if you sit anywhere between block 14-19 you can only really hear the City fans.

Sunderland fans think they'd have won today if they had vik in their team ..

Strangely I think we'd have won most of our games with haaland in ours
I've seen some odd takes in relation to that, it's as if they created a lot of chances. They had one good chance. They had lots of the ball generally outside our penalty area

I watched on TV. Appreciate you can only hear what comes through the mikes...

Our support was more constant (but didn't sound like last season levels).

Theirs when they made noise (which was very rare) was louder.

Apart from our two goals which were absolutely colossal roars.

The mics must be closer to the away fans because apparantly it was like that v millwall .. we were far louder

CWR coverage is the best for ascertaining the crowd noise

Thought they made some decent noise. Decent atmosphere all round

Thought Sunderland were one of the better teams we've played at home this season.
Their number 10 on the right looked good first half

That was Patrick Roberts. Quick, great with close ball control but as light as a feather when you go near him. Think he was hitting the deck any time a Cov shirt got within a few feet of him, trying to buy freekicks and a penalty.

Great to see the camaraderie amongst the team in that celebration. Love how passionate McNally was too - let’s take it as a sign he is 100% signing in the summer.

Depends where he sees his future. He signed a 4 yr deal with Burnley last year and they are effectively promoted so does he want to be a bench warmer in the Prem or a first teamer in the Championship (yeah, I've already dismissed our chances of promotion).

They wanked over Sunderland a bit pre-game, and at kickoff.

But i thought they gave both teams equal due, and were very creditable to us at the end... "genuine playoff contenders" etc

A bit patronising to say ‘this is where big teams get brought down’. Sunderland have just spent 4 seasons in League 1

Scumderland...wankers the lot of em...fuck em,
Just really wish we wouldn't have morons mocking poor Bradley...other than that they are pure weasel wanks

The mic was definitely closer to their fans. It was right behind the goal, I only spotted it there because their defender booted it after we scored our second.

Quite frankly though, who gives a toss...

The co-commentator was spouting crap about us many times... its clear he rarely watches us, doesn't bother me at all.
