I'd say Strachan was a decent manager until Richard Money left.We certainly slowly but surely improved once Viveash came on board. That’s no criticism of Robins by the way but sometimes you get managers who manage the players backed by a good first team coach who get the players performing, such as Bertie Mee/Don Howe at Arsenal and Joe Mercer/Malcolm Allison at Man City, yet both Allison and Howe struggled as managers. I always thought Strachan was best here when Big Ron’s assistant than when manager.
