With talk of a few league 1 clubs showing interested in him and people talking about him going to the likes of Charlton and the like, he almost looked to me like he was looking for an excuse to come off earlier? Went down in his first challenge (which was minimal contact from what I saw) and hobbled around Yakubu esque til he was finally subbed off! Looked disinterested and almost like in his head he'd already left!
Anyone else see it that way or just me?

Won’t be missed personally, said it months ago that he is greedy and only cares about himself and I was laughed at but everyone is starting to see that he does not care about the club or any teammates and that massively takes away from the potential ability he has

Waste of time get rid and bring in someone who wants to train and win the shirt.

I thought nearly everyone has said he was too greedy.

Who was laughing at you? Was it CC4L?

Someone showed clip evidence of a game earlier when duck kept his head down and shot from a ridiculous position when every time mcnulty was unmarked in space with an open goal. It happened 3 times in a match we didn't score (Colchester maybe)... Greedy, non team player and can go back to wolves

That was because he had no confidence in mcnulty being able to convert chances so is perfectly understandable

Well I am going to buck the trend of getting on his back - Clint Hill is a nasty fcuker and knows how to hurt people subtly.
I can believe he did the Duck personally he is more than capable of doing that he has history.

I like the Duck as a player and think he is comfortably our best forward in the squad in terms of ability.
He makes things happen and scores goals and assists - sure he has set up 50% of McNulty's recent goals.
I am glad McNulty is scoring now and he does work hard but for me if Duck goes he will be missed.
Unless of course new lad from Reading hits the ground running - gut feeling based on nothing don;t think he will have Duck's impact.
I hope I am wrong.

Finally a great result today at difficult place to come to - it will mean nothing however if we do not book it up by beating Chesterfield
at home which strangely I feel is now a massive game for us.

A while back I said it was important we keep Nazon, but since then McNulty has discovered form (I suspect it was a getting up to fitness thing).
So now the issue is to find a replacement that complements McNulty's style of play.

I agree if his heart isn’t in it but he is a good player and gets goals. That can’t be denied really. It’s a tough one

I don't dispute his talent he just doesn't seem to have any fire in his belly for us. Doesn't seem to have bonded with his team mates.

And theh were proven in wrong in the next games.

Today mcnulty did same when dke was free

No one said anything.....

Not that i mind. Like my strikers to go for goal when they are on form like he is

It is what happens when strikers are on form they will choose a shot especially over a pass to those who at the time can’t score a goal for love nor money.
Some can’t work that one out, I suspect those who haven’t got much experience of playing football

So it's no coincidence that since JJ got injured and the duck started to get benched (our 2 most greedy players) McNulty has scored 7 goals in 8 games?!?! But sure, they never passed to him as they clearly had no confidence in him scoring!
You talk some shit sometimes you really do!!

It's more to do with players finding form and learning about their team mates. It takes time for players to gel.

He came on ran about a bit then went down , He laid there until Cov fans told him to get his lazy arse up , then the same again , he is not injured he just did not want to play . It was obvious and I doubt you will see him in a Cov shirt again , one thing he did do was speed up the game initially and was waving people forward , then he though buggar this and went down twice . I give Biamou stick but at least he can be bothered

My thoughts exactly

We need a different type of player now that McNulty is doing the biz

Definitely need someone who can understand McNultys game and compliment him, chip in with some goals and maybe I may start to like McNulty also need someone who can feed them both too so a solid midfield player, Duck is/was a frustrating player has scored some goals for us but maybe time to move on now...good luck to him for the future
