There was a time in my lifetime that a man wearing make-up would be assumed (& sadly persecuted as being) gay. Then it was confused by punk-rockers & new romantics. Nowadays most of us don't give a damn if you do or you don't. Applying the labels in the early days simply confuses & slows down progress

Germany takes part in things such as observation, peace keeping missions, sending ships to control waters where arms are smuggled. It did not invade Iraq or Afghanistan or assist in the form of active military assistance. Passive yes, but not troops on the ground before the wars were over ( at least the attacking part of the war in Afghanistan ). In the first Iraq war, they didn’t participate in any military form, but paid billions to help cover the costs of the war.
