Because that wasn't what was being discussed, by anyone. If you are insinuating that I am somehow in favour of; or indeed excusing grooming gangs then you have issues, you can't really put into words the sickness & depravity there. Also, if you want to go down the route of which race is most culpable for acts of racism, tit for tat style, then you aren't going to come out well in that argument.I struggle to imagine a more hideous manifestation of racism than selecting vulnerable children of a particular race to groom, drug and gang rape them.
Given that you’ve spent the last few days telling us all what a nasty racist country England is, why have made no mention of the grooming gangs scandals that have ruined the lives of thousands of white children in our towns and cities?
So therefore we should just ignore it and get on with booting johnny foreigner out just like we voted for, those pesky immigrants should think themselves lucky to be in England.England's "racism problem" as you put it, is no worse than any other developed nation.
would you accept a commemorative "Boris got it done" T shirt as payment? The vet has just confirmed that he can make it tomorrow to shoot the pet horse so we can eat it. Out means out, let the good times roll. Horse stake anyone?
Errr... No.would you accept a commemorative "Boris got it done" T shirt as payment?

Time to accept the result of the referendum after more than three years and get on with it.
Am I proud of it ? Where did I say that ?Again, how is not being worse something to be proud of?
There are countries with far worse issues regarding racism than the UK, totally agree.
Th At doesn't mean we haven't gone backwards and it doesn't mean we haven't got problems that need addressing.
It's funny how many remainers like accusing those who voted leave as being racist, amongst other things. So therefore we should just ignore it and get on with booting johnny foreigner out just like we voted for, those pesky immigrants should think themselves lucky to be in England.
I'm not bothered about brexit, that will play itself out, the scumbags running around every town with their xenophobia & racism is what I don't like. You're clearly ok with it, shows what kind of person you are, I am not ok with it.

We could have the best record on racism but there will always be racist people.
Struggling to understand what remainders have to do with it, I didn’t even vote in it. Therefore I’m not a remainer or a leaver, as I have stated I am referring to the rise of racism since credit, it is you that is claiming there isn’t a racism problem, and you’re a leaver, wow what a surprise. It's funny how many remainers like accusing those who voted leave as being racist, amongst other things.
Inevitably, as the clock ticks down and the awful reality that we are leaving kicks in, it seems that the racist card is being played once more.
I suggest you start a political party that can route out the scum and xenophobic element in our society rather than pointing the finger at uncle Tom Cobbly and everyone else who isn't as perfect as you. Clearly , no one can do it as well as you could.
Failing that, move to another country. Germany or , in particular, Austria might suffice.
He actually implied I'm proud of it. I'm pointing out that's not the case. That phrase has been used a few times, other countries are worse or other countries are just as bad.
That can't be used as an excuse to ignore an increase in racism in my opinion.
Exactly. But he doesn’t want to hear that, he says it’s not getting worse at all, or he avoids the topic. I’m gonna guess he’s 50-60ish, probably retired, classic gammon material.I agree. But there's definitely been an increase. Just hearing some of the stories of people's experiences at the football tells us these people have become emboldened.
Actually I did- first stage acknowledging it and calling it out, instead of going around pretending it’s not getting worse and justifying it on the basis it happens elsewhere too.He actually implied I'm proud of it. I'm pointing out that's not the case.
You're absolutely right , increased racism is a bad thing . I hope I've made that clear .
What he needs to do is offer solutions rather that simply slag the nation off.
He hasn't any solutions whatsoever.

They never do, they constantly just point elsewhere to deflect attention, as this thread demonstrates.I wasn't saying you personally are proud of it but it seems to be used often to dismiss concerns about the increase of racist attitudes in society.
You're a very embittered, angry soul.Struggling to understand what remainders have to do with it, I didn’t even vote in it. Therefore I’m not a remainer or a leaver, as I have stated I am referring to the rise of racism since credit, it is you that is claiming there isn’t a racism problem, and you’re a leaver, wow what a surprise.
The ‘racist card’ (a term beloved of racist old gammons to try and downplay racism as a problem) is being used due to the fact that England has a big racist problem.
You’re an embarrassment.
Embittered no, angry yes. The fact that you aren’t angry at how our society is shaping up and how we are regressing & going backward just proves my point. You just don’t see racism as an important enough issue. You're a very embittered, angry soul.
Why not start a new thread entitled " Are the English racists?" rather than go over it on here ? It's been brought up time and time again ? You'll get lots of takers, and probably lots of likes !They never do, they constantly just point elsewhere to deflect attention, as this thread demonstrates.
But not by you, huh? You aren’t really too bothered whether there is racism or notWhy not start a new thread entitled " Are the English racists?" rather than go over it on here ? It's been brought up time and time again ? You'll get lots of takers, and probably lots of likes !
Like I say, you clearly need to lance the boil that is causing you a great deal of anger. Anger isn't a good thing let's face it. Start a thread on this topic. It's an important topic, clearly. But not by you, huh? You aren’t really too bothered whether there is racism or not
So if I don't rant about it and get angry, I'm a racist. But not by you, huh? You aren’t really too bothered whether there is racism or not
No not at all. Saying it’s ok because it’s worse elsewhere and we all need to swallow it and crack on, that’s what makes it clear. So if I don't rant about it and get angry, I'm a racist.
To which century. In my day people didn’t stab each other. Shootings were usually domestic problems. I guess growing up in post war Britain had some advantages. Born in the early 60’s. As teenager a knife or air pistol was usually hidden from parents. But then the Catty was used for tin cans and the knife was for whittling arrow shafts.Embittered no, angry yes. The fact that you aren’t angry at how our society is shaping up and how we are regressing & going backward just proves my point. You just don’t see racism as an important enough issue.

Completely agree. You can't label all English people racist.
But is there an increasing problem with racism in England? Undoubtedly in my opinion.
The percentages say otherwise.but the general election, brexit vs remain was a landslide victory.
I'm looking forward to your "England"is racist thread"......when you've got time.Actually I did- first stage acknowledging it and calling it out, instead of going around pretending it’s not getting worse and justifying it on the basis it happens elsewhere too.
For the last time.Haven't read the last 1000 pages or so, we're leaving, we need to come together as a nation and make it work, this continuous slating of the leavers by the remainers has to stop, accept you lost, twice! We as a nation rejected the ideas to stay first time round by a small margin (4% iirc?) but the general election, brexit vs remain was a landslide victory. I can't help but think the remainers want it to fail so they can say I told you so. Time to put all this petty shit to one side and make this work for the good of our nation.
