It is an article on two countries of the EU that are refusing the free movement of people more like.
He said 87.5% didn’t vote AFD but Martcov fails to mention the massive increase they had to 12.5% of the vote. Why?
Democracy when it suits then. I’ve heard that a lot from remainers in the last year or so. Why?
By saying 87,5% I am implying 12,5% voted for AFD. They have come out of the shadows because of the propaganda and fear mongering going on especially on the internet. CA have explained how you do it. There were always 5% + supporting right wing extremist parties. Now they are in the limelight and have used the effects of the Syrian war to frighten people. Has all been done before, but I thought we had moved on.
You are the ones claiming that the EU is not democratic, whilst ignoring the fact that the UK has not got a perfect democracy, and is probably not as democratic as the EU.
At least Teresa May is an elected MP voted for by actual people who she serves. They can then get rid of her if deserved. We agree the House of Lords is a joke.
Who voted for juncker? I didn’t and you didnt.
So I had a say on political union through Maastricht and Lisbon - the British people through uk parliament could stop it?
Really? I must have missed that.
That is just par for the course across the whole spectrum of politics......the Blair's were as guilty as any on lining their own pockets. It all stinks and I'm not sure I'll ever bother voting in anything again.there's a conflict of interests. He has plenty of motivation for hastening our exit from the EU based on his own personal interests rather than what's best for the country. He certainly doesn't care about those fishermen.
Yes, as usual you have. Of course they/ you could have by not electing a pro EU government years ago. You could have voted for the NF, BNP or something similar. Unfortunately for you, nobody apart from them and the extreme right wing Tory backbenchers, was on your wavelength. The fact that people voted knowingly for a pro EU parliament for 40 years showed consent or indifference. We could have left years ago if the majority had wanted to. Nobody did, until the internet and youtube was kidnapped by the right wing, and you guys fell for their bile and organised, ruthless - see C.A. - propaganda.
We had no choice to vote for a pro Eu Party you clown.
The only person falling for something is you.
The socialist party, the communist party, McDonnell, Corbyn, Nellist are all opponents of the EU And hardly fall into your idiotic right wing mantra.
I honestly believe McDonnell has become more pro EU in recent years especially after reading the Yanis Varoufakis I linked earlier in this thread.
I don't think Corbyn has had any such change of heart.
Wait until whatever deal's agreed, is agreed. It would be political suicide to try and overturn the referendum.
Wait until whatever deal's agreed, is agreed.
It might all look very different in six months' time.
Once everyone votes down whatever deal is agreed in parliament (even if it's a decent deal!) then it'll have to go to the people anyway, won't it.
(As we've been promised more democracy, I'll be all for our Brexit which removes our head of state and upper chamber, in return for more democratic alternatives)
Ah, the stuck record repeats his gibberish. Biggest joke is you argue against it yourself up this very page.Democracy will mean according to you Vince Cable will soon be walking through number 10.

According to you democracy in action is through Parliament isn’t it?
Did you see the genius protest? Rees-Mogg and his Tory cronies were stopped from boarding the protest boat as they hadn't booked with TFL to use Westminster pier.Jacob Rees-Mogg has said that the deal won’t get accepted over fishing rights after Brexit so that’s neither the brexiteers or the remoaners backing it through Parliament so we might as well call the whole thing of and chalk it up to experience.
Isn't it a bit late for that really?
I thought it was reasonably well known?I mean years ago, if people were aware of how FB uses their data and the tracking it does of that person, I'm sure more would leave it. If a platform is free like that then the users become the commodity.
Read that about the fisheries commission before. If I was being cynical I’d say he was actively doing everything he could to stifle reform for political reasons.Grendel posts more in here than Italia does about Wasps :woot:

Farage did get on the boat and dumped a box of haddock into the Thames. Apparently we were promised in the referendum campaign that we'd leave the Common Fisheries Policy in 2019 but its going to be 2021. Don't recall that being a major issue at the time.
It gets even better. Farage was on the EU's fisheries committee for 3 years. In that time they held 42 meetings. He turned up for 1.
Who was the 2 that didn't vote for Juncker?Juncker is not the PM of the EU. Juncker is the head of the EU civil service. He was appointed by elected heads of states ( 26:2 ) and confirmed by a majority of elected MEPs. Did you vote for our head of civil service or our chief negotiator from the civil service? No, of course you didn't, but at least Juncker was appointed by an electoral college and a parliament.

Was one of the reasons I left (along with it wanting to re-unite me with an ex girlfriend however much I said I didn't want to befriend her, nor her new husband!)
The internet has helped people find out what the truth is. They have found out how much the EU costs us. You say it is a small amount.......but 3 years of payments is a massive amount you sayYes, as usual you have. Of course they/ you could have by not electing a pro EU government years ago. Then they found out that most of the money put into the EU each year goes to landowners. They found out that billions are lost to fraud.....but the money keeps flowing the same way. And they have also found out that amongst other things that the so called experts that have said that brexit would be a disaster are wrong more than right. And so far it shiws them to be wrong yet again. House prices were supposed to plummet. Unemployment was supposed to soar. Inflation was supposed to become uncontrollable.
Propaganda? Are you looking in the right direction for it?
So out of what I listed is fake news? The Internet has helped us find out the truth? There is so much fake news online! I could setup a site next week claiming that the EU costs us 2p a year and then do a few unethical marketing tweaks and get to page 1 before getting the website blacklisted after a couple of weeks, yet in that time millions could have seen it.
Look at all of the harvesting of data in the Brexit and Trump campaigns!
So out of what I listed is fake news?
The only fake news was what the so called experts came out with. And anyone making out that Brexit will be a disaster or will end great are just using another version of fake news.
It's a sorry world when people who learn expertise are ignored in favour of people who throw shit at a wall and hope something sticks.academic experts

A mate of mine regularly likes and shares pro brexit groups and posts. They’ve all got generic names like “out means out” “I voted leave” and variations of that theme and he believes everything that they say without question. He shared one the other week that claimed that no deal was the best deal as the Germans would be paying eleventy gazillion a second (slight exaggeration but you get the point) of import tariffs on BMW’s and Mercedes cars. I pointed out to him that the clue is in the title and it’s the importer who the import tariffs not the exporter. He wouldn’t have it. Fake news through Facebook and he bought it hook line and sinker. So out of what I listed is fake news?

If there’s more bad brexit news (and let’s face it there will be) on the way another area of the public sector will get a pay rise to bury the bad news. There’s no magic money tree and all that.Just curious If anyone thinks todays pay deal for NHS workers is related in any way?
