Soros comes across in it as greedy, manipulative, ruthless and arrogant - he makes Donald Trump look like a local church vicar
YOU are seriously comparing them! And yes so was I. Just a question of shifting context and scales...but they are all as bad as each other.
You cite me as a classic example...just because you believe that I believe & trust what those you disapprove of say. Well knock your rantings firmly on the head you maniac! Your comments on this thread are generally in complete denial about anything viewed negatively by others concerning the EU.
That puts you in pretty much the same "nutter" box as those you appear to despise...just the opposite side of the same box!!!

And the EU differs how? It is just as much of a risk. It is just that it is a risk you buy into. It is NOT a status quo...the ideals for the EU is a continual drift toward what some would say amounts to a German super-stateFunny that my comments are in complete denial of bullshit being thrown on here and elsewhere. Not everyone takes it in. If you notice, I am not blaming things on foreigners and people of a different religion or colour to myself and I am not agreeing with the far right populists. Most people would count that as more mainstream than "nutter". And accepting the status quo as opposed to happily taking a hit on a risky venture with no guarantee that things will get better is hardly being a 'nutter'.
Really? not even his far right critics have come out with antics of his similar or as bad as Trump's...
Your EU darlings. And if the full agenda was out there it wouldn't be hidden would it?
Reuters article sums it up nicely "Supporters of Brexit admit there may be some short-term pain for Britain's $2.9 trillion economy, but that long-term it will prosper when cut free from the EU which they cast as a failing German-dominated experiment in European integration."

Supporters of Brexit..... Yes, I can believe that. But not the rest of the world. All this anti-German bullshit... deflection from years of austerity.... and ... don't forget that when people are insulting Germans, they are insulting my daughter, my missus, my friends, staff and customers. Don't expect sympathy or support from me for the UK's divisive fxxk up.
On the video (which was recorded I assume in the late 80’s) a friend described him as trump with charisma which he laughed at.
He shrugged his shoulders when told about allegations that Malaysia accused him of criminality, seemed amused that he finds clever ways of tax evasion, said he had no real feelings or guilt regarding taking assets of holocaust victims.
A real man of the people guy
I haven't seen the bit about Malaysia. He has donated over a billion dollars. Not in favour of tax evasion. Yes, that is a similarity to Trump, if true.
The holocaust victim bit I have seen. The next sentence qualifies that statement. He was a child of 14 ( teenager ) hiding his real name and he said 1. if he didn't do it, someone else would, ( common excuse for those times for Nazis and collobarators ) and 2. he saw himself as a spectator as he was not actually carrying out the taking away of posessions ( he was accompanying someone who was - he was 14 ). He said it formed him and that is why we should see what's coming and try and stop it before it comes. So, yes, that was his admission of some form of guilt. But, you have to have been in that situation to be able to judge. For us from now, it seems like collobration with the enemy. For him, it was to survive. At least he showed candor and seems to be working for liberal democracy at he moment - as opposed to the likes of Bannon. He is funding democratic organisations and critical thinking. The opposite of what Bannon proposes. Soros has not claimed to be a street fighter and blue collar person..... as Bannon has.
Talks of a new party of being formed. Described as centrist and...……
Anti-Brexit?
More an excuse for snout in the trough losers like cable, Morgan and co to try and cling to office under another banner. That honest broker Nicholas Clegg perhaps sees an opportunity as well. Even Mr Blair could make a comeback. All believe in the same honest politics as Mart so why not.
And the alternative is........?
Alternative to what Mart?
to what you just described....... all these politicians that you just named..
You call it "bullshit"...that is contempt for those with a different opinion.
Who is insulting Germans? And to take any insult directed in a generalisation so personally suggests you are a very sensitive little beast.
The EU is NOT a status quo. You buy in to the ideals others don't. Britain has decided it has had enough of the slide towards what could easily be claimed as a Federal European State...or German super-state...that doesn't mean they have bought into bullshit, nor that they are right wing extremists, nor that they are 'Little Britain' veterans pining for a byegone era or similar like you persist in eluding to. To me those comments are just as insulting as any I have seen aimed at Germans. Your insults toward anyone that is not especially pro-EU are contemptuous.
Also, to me - your arguments, whether agreeable in any way or not, are relayed in blinkered & combative style you merely serve to entrench others in their positions...so that just about makes you at least as insulting, deflecting & divisive as ANY other on this thread or beyond!

I see that Jezza has now come out and nailed his true colours to the mast and sounded a little bit like Trump.
I wonder how all of those young remain voters who fell for him will feel now?

Demand Corbyn step down as leader of the Labour party?
I said before it would his downfall in the long term and think it'll prove to be. The corbynistas I know just answer borrow borrow borrow to any concerns about him.
I actually believe a lot of what he says on this issue. First Mr McDonnell - now Mr Corbyn what is the world coming to.
Haha yes was going to say!
Oh dear you seem not to be making sense - drinking the proceeds again?
I’ve gone all left wing.
He’s correct though. Countries like Germany and France wouldn’t farm out production at all - it’s trivial in the grand scheme of things but if the passport issue was reveresed no way would France have accepted a bid from the UK
Not sure why you're worried torch. May is taking charge herself now so it will all be fine!
May takes control of Brexit negotiations
And there you go again! You spot what ypu see as a potential negative for the UK - & you are right in there!!!Hilarious... er perhaps not :-(
At least they will have learned that you can't trust a politician. But many will fall for it next time he offers them everything they want.I see that Jezza has now come out and nailed his true colours to the mast and sounded a little bit like Trump.

My guess, from the fairly significant number of Germans I know & do/have worked with, is that they empathise with us Britons. You on the other hand mock & revel in anything to make the nation look bad/silly/incompetent.
What exactly has the UK done to you to make you this way?

the last Labour manifesto said they would respect the result of the referendum. Corbyn is sticking to what Labour pledged. If people didn't read the manifesto properly that's their fault.
He hasn't deceived anyone with regard to this issue.
I still maintain there is ambiguity about what leave means but I don't think we're ever going to clear that one up. Personally, I think it would be best if we remain in the customs union.
